Anyone here playing League of Legends
We can be discuss about LOL here and also make friends
I am currently playing on Singapore/Malaysia LOL server with IGN: zher3480
    I am planning to play NA/EU West/EU Nordic&East/South Korea
In your opinion, which server is the easiest to improve LOL skills as my highest elo is only 1250

obviously korean server would be better if you want to play against better players, but then again, LoL is a game revolving around teamwork. so if you can't speak the langauge, wouldn't that affect your game play as well?

I used to live in the u.s. but have been living in taiwan for the past 2 years. I still play on NA server with 155 ping, and that's perfectly fine for LoL.

The best server is the one where all your friends play on. One you enjoy playing on and can communicate with everyone else.

*why aren't you playing Dota 2 ? :) i know dota is big in malaysia. i met alot of cool malaysian friends while playing in the SEA servers ever sinced i moved to Taiwan. =D

I've started to play Dota 2 but in my opinion, LOL is more personal skill based compared to Dota 2. My friends' elo are even lower than mine. I don't really communicate with my friends in game and I always go for solo queue. Dyrus said that if you want to increase your elo, you got to specialise on a role.

LoL is a simpler game than dota 2. it's more user friendly, that's why more people play it. you should watch dendi play dota, or some of the pros play... the skills required for that game is a lot higher.... even the team fight coordination and planning. hell, even with support, you have alot more jobs to do than in LoL. but anyway, to increase elo, i think you need to be good with all roles at your level.

i'm sure you have played ranked solo queue before. do you always get the role you want to play? no, because the player with higher elo gets first pick, while the person at bottom gets last. so unless you're always the highest elo in your game (which isn't possible) or if you just get whatever champion you want and troll your team, it's hard to always get the champ you specialize in.

For him it's simple, everyone knows him, so they just give top lane to him always. so he can just specialize that one role, which is the role he plays in competitive games in TSM

Thanks for the advice. Would you recommend me to go play League of Legends China server? I can communicate with people in Chinese language

I play league occasionally on the NA server. The games player base is just so bad. You can be awesome and do everything amazing but one person on your team can screw it up. Matchmaking is broken so whatever server you get on you will be put with bad players. It takes hundreds of games to try to get out of the crappy player base.

that's why i dont even bother climbing the ladder lol most LoL players have no previous experience with moba. so lots of them dont know the basics. which makes it frustrating

my friends are mostly diamonds/gold, one is close to challenger, used to play with them, i thought about playing ladder, but the thought of playing by myself in a pool of bads from bronze is just too much. i know i'll rage every game 'cuz people do stupid shit like farming mid alone in late game when all enemy are missing, or jsut running around the map not knowing the importance of getting objectives done with efficiency.

I agree that korean servers will most likely have the highest skill cap players. But honestly, play on the server that you have the best ping (latency) on. Having a low ping allows you to have faster reaction times, which are crucial in high levels of play. Additionally, I would invest in runes and learning champs, before playing ranked. You should have at least 2 champs that you are comfortable with for each role in the current meta (marksman, mid, top, jungle, support). Get a friend to duo with, as communication is crucial in climbing the ranked ladder, and having a friend to voice chat with will help you improve communication. Remember to never rage, and the elo hell only exists when you think it does. Good luck!
