With your idea, you can extend the experience and is definitely more original than past Pokemon games.
Ah, nice to have some positive feedback this early in conception :) one other thing I've been thinking about is a way of downloading and installing fan-made modules to the game, so that the storyline never ever ends unless you want it to.

Hm, I suppose we went slightly off-topic there. On topic: We do seem to have quite a few writers here on TI. What genres are you into? It would be nice to read one of them short pieces you were talking about, oldysama :)

Yeah, that'd definitely be something to consider. I'm sure it would be quite popular.

And yes, I suppose we did get off topic, lol. Let's see, some of my favorite genre's are Sci-Fi and Fantasy. I'm all for creating new worlds and atmospheres with new technology and all that jazz. I find it wonderful to create a world which doesn't need any boundaries.

Most ideas I have had have been in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy area, as I too like to be able to define the world myself. However, I'd like to create at least one piece I'm satisfied with for each genre I can think of.

I posted the exact same thread, not having seen this one. I feel kind of stupid now, but anyway, I'm a writer. Mostly poetry. If I venture into prose it has a very poetic language to it, but normally I just stick to poetry.

I love to write, creative writing can be so much fun. It lets me express myself, and relieve the stress I carry often.

I often write poetry. Never published any though, but have thought about it!

I dabble. I've written short stories and poems, I've attempted novellas, am currently attempting a novel...but so far, I don't feel I have a fully polished product.

                    Here's something for you, Jenna.

Our Lady of Infinite Majesty ©

Prancing to the beat of divine beauty,
She pulls gravity of any orbit, like
A vindicated countess observing her reign
                    Among mere mortals, for
                    Her embrace shines through,
                    Shimmering and charged, as
Electric waves caught in the air, and
Doused in a squirreling flame, she becomes:
Rüya, whom dispels your flimsy desire, and
Dancing upon notions of a romantic thirst, she’ll
                    Cast hallowed imprints of bliss to long;
Celestial moons fragment, splintering a wounded soul.

Magnetized by a polar lust, she leaves
                    One stumbling, guessing, and addicted
                    To the Fable,
                    Craving another glance, and
                    Tranced like the Siren or the Sylph;
                    She’ll come back ‘round.
                    Walking with painless strides
                    Over fields of shattered glass,
Green and covered in innocent blood—
Sins of the past reckoned during
                    Final moments of truth and clarity;
She binds your senses to an unimaginable scene:
                    Quenched in her paralyzing detail,
Rivaled by queens and Goddesses alone, she may
Allow you to trespass on shards of obsidian flows, and
                    Discover her infinite plan as
She continues to dance and step
                    Out of this world;
Existing only in dreams, you see.

On a flickering time line with a blink,
The passion is through, left distilling
The thought of could be, should be, but never—
Crystallize into a form: Her touch, we’ll
                    Call it magic, for
I am restored merely by her presence.

                    In the wake of rebirth, set free;
Howling as we ascend toward the sun, crying
Within the last degrees of twilight,—
Watching as she whispers, and listening to
Her fathomless secrets of a forbidden physic; trembling
Beneath veils of shivering courage, I ask
                    The ephemeral questions, and
                    Wonder in faint perception
About the absence of Majesty, while
                    Her heavenly perfection gleams
                    Everlasting and Eternal.

Unlike many of the others I'm terrible at rhyming. Like horrid. I make the poems come out all stupid and nonsensical. Therefore I'm more of the genre of short story writing. And as is mentioned above, it can always be hard to find a plot or progress a story somewhere. Developing characters can suck too. So when you see something that inspires you, you have to write it down for later. It can be anything that is interesting to you. The last thing I wrote was about a plague doctor and his son. And finding depth is really important to making the reader appreciate the story, Konaya. It sounds great. :)

I envy you a little, because I never knew how to write good articles, let alone a poem.

If you are a stylist or in any way associated with fashion, then you often have to write fashion writing. In order to do this very concisely and competently, I recommend that you read the article that I left at the link. Thanks to her, you can make your essay very interesting for the reader!

                                Dear JJ,

I'm not a writer but I would surely like to share my thoughts on writing, in a few words...

                                I'm not a writer,
But I would like to get there,
                                Just noting my thoughts,
                                At times, thinking-"Should I dare?"

                                For it's not that often,
That I pen what I think.
But when I read what I write,
                                I sometimes feel I need a shrink!

                                I love words, I love'em a lot,
Playing with them right to the dot.
And letting my feelings flow through my words,
I like seeing them fly as free as the birds.

But many a times I hit a wall,
And don't know what to say, whom to call!
I simply run out of words and then,
Have to start all over again!

A Lady in Pink once told me to take a walk,
If I wanted my hidden potentials to unlock.
Or grab a cup of coffee and take a break,
Go bake a cake or have a choco-shake!

But I guess that it's all a matter of time,
That one gets it right without spending a dime.
And at times it's only a spark of inspiration.
That helps you get to the next station.

And listening to good music does help sometime,
To get motivated to write words that rhyme.
But what helps most is a readers positive word,
That makes you feel special, makes you feel heard!

For their caring words always make me wonder,
Inspiring me to write like thunder.
For when it comes to this Happy-go-Mac,
What works best is a good Feed-back!

                                :001_smile:

                                Thank you for the opportunity!

                                Best Wishes,

                                Mackenna
