A few weeks ago I upgraded my Graphics card to a Palit GeForce GTX 460 768MB card. Having come into a little of money this week (yay) I'm going to kick my PC up to speed with the card. Going to get myself an i5 760 processor and a new Gigabyte motherboard to match. Add 4GB of Kingston DDR3 RAM and I'm set.

It should be here tomorrow or Saturday. WOOT

Nice, if I was going to upgrade my graphics right now I'd get a GTX 460 :D

My 8800GT is feeling the strain :(

                      Lawl.

Does the U2211H have an IPS panel or not?

Got any overclocking done on that? :)

                        Yep e-IPS.

                        Got OC on GPU (725 > 825 / 1000 > 1150 / no voltage changes) and CPU (2.83 > 3.7 / a little bit of voltage tweaking).

                          Sweet

My next planned upgrade is a Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P if I can find one used, I should be able to get my quad to at least 3.2GHz or so on that (with a bit of extra juice) and my RAM to 1066MHz using the same timings it's at now.

I think I can take 2 or 3 more years with this setup. Games have kinda stalled nowadays. I don't see much need for more than what I have now.

                            BUT...

                            CRYSIS 2 IS COMING!!!! OMGWTF

                              Yeah lol,

Even a dual Xeon X5680 system with Tri-SLI GTX 580s and 24 gigs of RAM will explode at the though of Crysis 2.

Although I kind of doubt it, I still hope that it will be better coded than Crysis and will actually be playable on your average gaming computer.
