I wonder about this as well. I have tried using a couple different programs to do a screen capture but just ended up with a black box without sound. Replay Video Capture is supposed to be able to do this, but I have been unsuccessful. Maybe you can try that and, if you are able to get it to work, please let me know how you did it.

I'd be interested in the answer to this as well. Haven't found a way yet myself. (Then again, it's generally not too hard to find a torrent of what you have up there.)

I'd like to know since I have Prime Video myself, any ideas?

I discovered that the service PlayOn has the capability of doing so. However, it is a paid subscription, but here is a current deal of $39.99 (US dollars) for a lifetime subscription.

Like Replay Media Catcher is supposed to do, it records in real time, but you are able to do so in the background while working on other things (rather than having to keep the streaming video on the screen. And while I have not tried it on other services, it should work on other services (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, cable channels, etc) that you have a membership or rentals, as well as free ones.
