    Hello Everyone,

    I just install my seedbox with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64bit.. is there any instruction on how to install plex on my seedbox and to get it working so I can view my movies without downloading ?

    Help would be greatly appreciated

    Hi dabonz

    1, Register with plex
    Sign Up with Plex for Free | Plex Media Server

    2, ssh into server and install plex
    Install Plex Media Server Ubuntu 15.x

    3, setup ssh tunnel for initial plex configuration guide can be found here:
    SSH Port Tunneling with Putty
    tunneling Ports info ::: "On different Network" bottom of page :::
    Installation Plex
    Take ownership of server (login in settings)
    Create Movies, Tv ect folders in rutorrent download Directory <--Rutorrent filemanager
    In plex add library's and point them to the relevant directorys
    allow remote access

    4, Access plex https://<server ip> :32400/web

        Hi, I highly suggest to buy the plex pass. Many usefull feature, like movie trailer, syncing with mobile device, user management, beta new feature like DVR.

        After a couple of month I have decided to buy the lifetime plex pass and WOW. It's amazing! A little expansive but it's worth it.
