Starting from the beginning.
I signed up with superseeder.eu as an alternative to seedroots after Lardo passed away.
Price was $2 more a month for the same torrent speed and service but without SFTP.
I was willing to give it a try.
First few days of service were okay, rutorrent download speeds as expected if not excellent, and ftp download speeds was slower than seedroots SFTP.
I ended up later having access issues where rutorrent and FTP login would time out, I made a ticket, response was fast but said there was no issue, after his response I had access again.
The issue of time out persisted randomly, made a new ticket iirc, made a comment here and then he privately messaged me about it, understandable, but he then started to get a bit rude over the fact I complained publicly here. But he then setup SFTP free of charge. That was nice.
Still there were time out issues, I checked the hops via tracert and did some troubleshooting, nothing on my end was indicating contributing to the issue.
I decided to deactivate the automatic renewal and just ride the service out to the end of the month as I paid for.
I should still have over 1 week of service left at the time of writing this review, but I found he disabled my account and server when I went to login today.. and it appears it's been that way for a few days.
I messaged him and opened a paypal dispute (not a claim), as this was highly unprofessional and inappropriate behavior to cancel my service just over half way through.
I did follow his TOS, and only used private trackers.
His response about this was... well... not at all what I was expecting.
He told me I had nothing but complaints since day one (not really) and that I didn't say thank you for effort (I did)
said he didn't like my attitude (what?)
said he didn't owe me anything (so that money I paid was a donation?)
it was a mistake to sell me anything
etc etc....
basically it read as an emotional outburst, not a professional response.
This is a prime example of how NOT to conduct customer service or treat your customers.
I've been around for a while.. since BBS days and trading floppies... I'm not a spring chicken.
There's many other seedbox providers with good reviews here.
