You ready to rent some servers for us? Eh, eh? ;)
;-) I though about it honestly..but in case of problem, the responsibility would be on me!

Not to dig up an old thread for nothing, but just wanted to mention it is possible to order from outside of France...but your server selections and allowable payment methods will vary.

I went to order a Dedibox LT and on the order page they showed 30 available with the SATA option, but after creating an account (including name, address, country, phone number), I got a message that the Dedibox LT was not available and was given a list of others to choose from. I opted instead for the Dedibox MD for a more (came to 58.49 after removing the extra options). I am thinking this is due to the fact that I signed up from the US.

Before even getting to the payment screen, you must verify your email and add your verified paypal account to your console. Now the good news is I did not have to pay VAT...the bad news is I did have to pay a 59.99 setup fee.

The server was delivered 14 minutes after payment, and that's as far as I've gotten so far. I really don't want to post a formal review but if anyone is interested, I can post back here with some stats when I get some use out of it.

I'm surprised you couldn't order that LT. Let us know how it goes. Good news is that people outside France can order now :)

I don't know if you know, but your server will come by default with RAID1, so you'll only see 2TB of space available. And unless you REALLY need 4TB, I strongly advise to let it that way. Otherwise, you will never get the full potential of the gigabyte link, and overall server's power.

I got an LT, topped outgoing traffic @ 92MB/s last week (RAID1) :p Will come with screenshots later.

Wow I am really liking what Online is offering - cheers for the suggestion.

Though I JUST got a dedi from OVH so it looks like I won't be ordering one till next month.

I guess the server could have break the 100MB/s if I didn't have 27 other active torrents.

Coming from a Kimsufi, there's no way I'd go back :p

                Quick update:

A lot (if not all) of their website and customer sections are in French, so I highly recommend browsing with Google Chome, which can translate entire webpages with ease.

Installation of Ubuntu was easy, although it did take an hour because they want to make sure all services are running. After changing the system language to English, I was able to easily set up a seedbox with ruTorrent. Download speeds usually come in at around 40 MB/s and upload speeds on a good torrent average 60 MB/s, although it is not hard to reach 85 MB/s.

Creating torrents and copying files is also pretty fast.

Overall very happy with online.net and I'll definitely be staying for a while!

He said he got the Dedibox MD which is 64,99€/month.
I haven't heard much about this provider though, but reading this thread the speeds you guys get are amazing. I'm gonna purchase one of the smaller boxes for a month, to see how it goes.

Try Seed My Box - Seedbox, SSD seedbox, Evoswitch VPS & Dedicated Servers ! Best I've ever had! They have a 1gbps VPS with 1810 GB for 59.99/mo, but it's a VPS, so you would have to set it up as a seedbox yourself (or maybe you could ask to make it a seedbox for staff, I'm sure they'll figure something out). :)

Sorry I didn't expressed myself very well here. I meant that I had a Kimsufi before, but now a LT from online.net. These speeds come from the LT of course.

Let me clarify it for you since i'm french, it's easier for me:

Online.net is owned by a big french communication company called Illiad. Illiad also created a company called Free. And this company had become the most innovative mobile phone and broadband company in France. They have been killing its competitors (which have been ripping of the people for many years) with new services and amazing prices.

Apart from this, the company Free (so Illiad at the end) has also in the past been in court for copyright issues: they were a huge usenet host. They also provide a free FTP access (and anonymous ; dl.free.fr) for anyone who wants to share big files...
Illiad president is Xavier Neil. He's now also the owner of a third of Le Monde (biggest newspaper in France) among other things.. And have been awarded best business man (on an international scale) a couple of times if I remember well. Despite open critics from our very own past president Sarkozy...

In the past M. Neil also been to prison... for being involved in some ways in a prostitution network... Thing is, M. Neil was number ONE of porn hosting/network in France when aged 20..... online.net is today's OVH biggest competitor. And they seem to be willing to go further.

                              Wow! That's great upload speed.
What are the payments method accepted by online.net?
Bank transfers. They ask for a IBAN. That all I think.

It varies by country. From the US, you can only pay with a verified Paypal account (means you can't just go to the paypal payment screen and choose to just put in your credit card number).
