I seed a lot of potential in SeX. It has everything to become bigger, but in order to grow the staff needs to get more users to signup..

From the FAQ section on SceneXpress:
Can I upload your torrents to other trackers?

No. We are a closed, limited-membership community. Only registered users can use the TB tracker. Posting our torrents on other trackers is useless, since most people who attempt to download them will be unable to connect with us. This generates a lot of frustration and bad-will against us at TorrentBits, and will therefore not be tolerated.

Does this mean they have simply copied the FAQ from TorrentBits, or are they somehow affiliated with them?
Also, you say that this tracker has been open for about a year, yet there is a review from 2010 and 2012. What does this mean?

Hi MimiCrs,
I did a little digging about its history. There was another tracker, a long time ago, named SceneLinks (ScL) which eventually became SceneXpress (SeX) in 2011 ou 2012. It quickly went under, don't ask me why.
The new SeX seems to have been resurrected by an older staff member in May 2014.

TorrentBits.org died in 2004. There was also a TorrentBits.ro which was raided and their owners arrested by the police in 2007 and then there is bittorrent.3x.ro/which has the exact same FAQ that SeX is using.
SeX just removed one question that remains on bittorrent.3x.ro's FAQ page :

Where can I get a copy of the source code?


Snapshots are available on the FTP. Please note: We do not give any kind of support on the source code so please don't bug us about it. If it works, great, if not too bad. Use this software at your own risk!
Here is a nice tutorial on getting it all to work, written by one of our users: Geocities has shut down. Note: This tutorial is not supported by TB. Please direct all comments on the tutorial to the author, MrMister.

So SeX apparently used TB.org's source code (11 years old) and didn't bother editing the FAQ.
