I picked Utorrent. I don't know if it's my favorite but it is the first bittorrent client I ever installed and that was followed by qbittorrent. I I always go back to Utorrent maybe out of habit or familiarity . I've been using torrents for a while, but I'm still not too sure what the big difference is between them.

I honestly prefer Vuze to uTorrent, but so many private trackers ban it that it is not a practical client to use.

uTorrent all the way man! Still using version 2.0.4 Build 22967 still working great :D But for now linux i am using qBittorrent. Great lightweight app :)
I used to think that today would never come

uTorrent beacuse it's the only that's accepted on all of the private trackers I use.

utorrent because it is "a (very) small torrent client"

That's an interesting poll. But I think it would be somewhat more informative if there would be two polls: one for desktop and one for server usage. For example, I only use my seedbox for BT and my fav client is r(u)torrent. But if I would (only) use my PC for torrenting, it would probably be another client..

I actually use Tixati for my computer, although I almost never torrent on it, since almost all of my torrenting is done through my seedbox with Deluge

+1. Although tbh if I did torrent at home, I'd probably use Deluge like I use on my seedbox anyway. That way I could just switch between the two in the connections box in the client.

Started out with azureus back in the day until I had problems at one point and switched to utorrent. Been using utorrent now for like the last 8 yrs

I really doubt that since the initial release was 9 years ago in 2005 :P

You know I also used to use azureus, but it seems like it got really bad after awhile. It was always a memory hog, but then it started having all of that video nonsense, etc, and was really bloated and unbearable. I always wondered why the developers chose to take it in that direction, they must have alienated a ton of users.

I think I'm going to change from using Tixati on my desktop to using Deluge here as well, like my seedbox.

Ummm BitTorrent wasn't even invented 15 years ago. The first version of uTorrent came out 8 years ago.

                          So... No.

Article written in 2013 that backs up the 13 yrs. http://torrentfreak.com/bittorrent-t...-today-130702/

That article is about bittorrent, not utorrent. uTorrent is 9 years old. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%CE%9CTorrent
