  • What Is Your One Favorite Tracker?

If you had to stick with just one tracker, which one would it be?

For me, it would have to be thevault.bz

If you could pick one more, which one would it be?

I would have to choose bibliotik.

IPT. It has everything and do not need to worry about seeding. H&rs are kinda gay, but it's still better than TL.
    2nd would probably be PTP.

IPT is the very best, you actually don't need any other tracker if you have got IPT.

I am a movie addict and don't care much about recent hollywood movies. At PTP I get everything I need and want so this would be the first on my list even if I like Awesome-HD more.

I don't care much about generic general tracker like IPT. You get most of the new stuff but if you want something not-so-new, they don't have it (or don't have it in HD).

Its got to be openbittorrent or publicbt for me. As much as I like and support private trackers, the public trackers just have so much more content under one roof than the best general tracker that if I had to stick with one tracker, it has to be one of the above. A public 'tracker' varies greatly from a public 'torrent indexer' such as ThePiratebay and KAT though, but since your question was about the tracker, that has to be it for me. Don't get me wrong, I almost exclusively use private trackers these days but when it comes to an all-in-one solution and I have to pick only one, then I will have to choose a public tracker. Cheers!

Haha, I'm going to have to agree on this one. For an all in one solution, public trackers will have to be the way to go :P

Depends on the point of view. I honestly doubt that there is a public tracker with as many movies as PTP. Also favorite tracker =! most torrents.

I agree if I had to choose only one.

True, favourite =! most torrents. If I had to choose a favourite it'd be MyA (nice community, lots of audiobooks that I like) but if I had to choose one single tracker (and use it solely) as described in the description ... it'd have to be one that covers all the bases :)

I do not know how many movie torrents PTP has right now, but you can bet there are millions upon millions of movie torrents being tracked by public trackers like OBT. The.torrent file originates from so many different torrent indexers that compiling statistics on the number of movies would be too time-consuming. Keep in mind though that the 'movies' I am talking about involves so many different types of languages and originate from all corners of the globe.

I am not just talking about English language movies which are abundant everywhere. I do not know whether PTP has a good collection of non-English movies as I am not a member there but I highly doubt they can rival the breadth of content available on the public trackers. That's just the advantage of public trackers; the open-door policy ensures that nobody is restricted from uploading their very own encodes or even their own movies for others to enjoy. Even movies released by some internal encoders on private trackers get leaked to the public scene after a short time.

To answer your other statement, the OP did mention 'what is your one favourite tracker' in the title but he disqualified that in the description when he mentioned 'If you had to stick with just one tracker, which one would it be?' Since I have a single option on which tracker to choose, then the most logical move would be choosing an all-in-one tracker so that you are not missing out on anything. If I chose like you did and went with PTP, then what about my tv shows, music, games, e-books, etc? I would be missing out on everything else except movies. Hence my choice..

Of course I am speaking of different movies and not about the amount of torrents. PTP does have 96.500 different movies right now, which should be easily more than any other tracker.

Maybe I misread the OP. If I really have to just pick one tracker for all my piracy needs this must be a general tracker for everyone. Sure, I am a movie addict but I do watch tv shows and read alot of books, play games, install software and "use" porn^^.
But we have to admint that you won't get everything at general tracker (not even nearly everything). As an anime fan you won#t like general trackers and for movies there you get almost just scene movies and only the most famous movies. If I search for some korean or japanese films, sometimes I find an SD version. Most of the time I won't find anything at all.

Conclusion: don't limit yourself with only one tracker
