Music tracker for independent music only. Music owned by RIAA is forbidden. Only lossy is allowed, if you want lossless support the artist buying the album.
Indie Torrents is a great site if you are looking for those hard-to-find releases. Indie used to mean the independent rock genre, but they have expanded now, and have opened it to really any kinds of independent music.

It isn't very difficult to get into, someone is usually willing to hand out an invite through their irc channel

The people here are real music enthusiasts. They can be a bit overbearing at times, and seem pompous, and if that bothers you, just stay out of the irc and the forums. Overall, it's a great tracker, with a ton of hard to find music.

Freeleech:-

Freeleech is rare,Maybe once in 7-8 days.You either have to be very active or you shouldnot bank on freeleeches.Freeleech torrents are marked with a mouse next to it.Since christmas is near freeleeches have been thrown on various torrents otherwise its a different story.



Forums:-

Nice community with a lot of contests and special activities going on. Make sure to check it out, also contains some useful guides.There also are some forum rules that need your attention before posting.



Rules:-

This tracker is very strict about its rules especially ratio.Dont apply here if you bank on bonuses or freeleeches.




NO Bonus System:-

If you bank heavily on bonus systems to keep your ratio up this site is certainly not for you.

Uploading rules:- These are some rules you should be familiar with

Make sure you only upload music from independent labels. We like to support the little guy and will not accept material that is released on a major label. If the release is on a major then it will be deleted and you risk being banned. Check the RIAA Radar, BPI Radar, the RIAA list of members (hxxp://www.riaa.com/about/members/default.asp), and #it's list of unsafe bands and labels if you are unsure. If ANY version of an album is RIAA unsafe they are ALL unsafe - it doesn't matter if it's an import

Breaking this rule can cause severe consequences so be carefull.

Allowed formats:-

Lossless formats are also prohibited. We would like people to actually support the artists and feel that the desire for lossless audio should be expressed at the record store.

Thus is a great music tracker with quiet good content.Content you find here is from independent labels.You will also find a lot of non mainstream music /bands/albums here.You will definitely love the site if you love discovering new bands. As for the speeds,they are quiet decent but not bad at all.Community here is small but a great one.People are always willing to help you out and are active on IRC.A must have tracker for all music lovers and people who love discovering new Bands/Artists/Albums.Site design isnt great but is very userfriendly.

Design:- 7/10 (Certainly needs an upgrade but user friendly)
Content:- 9/10 (Very good content but no FLAC as they believe in supporting the artist)
Speeds:- 6/10 (Since everyone can upload speeds are low but picks up after initial phase)
Rarity:- 9/10 (Content is rare as this is the only site that covers indie almost completely)
