A dedicated tracker for music videos. Tracker has a huge category list of music videos. SceneVids stays around quite nicely. Even though this is a new tracker, it has a huge amount of user base. They have announced on Nov 07th

No more freeleech and users! We extended freeleech for a week almost but now it's gone.

We also reached the user limit of 5000 users. For now we will NOT raise that number as the site will be going through a major change. After that we will probably go invite only.

There are over 3k enabled users and over 1k torrents as of Nov 08, 2010. It appears that they don't allow to upload non scene releases. All of the indexed torrents are scene releases. There are over 2k seeders there so tracker has well seeded torrents. Most of torrents have at least one seeder.
They recently had open for sign ups. But no more. You already saw that in the above description. There is currently a poll going on there as "Open sign up until 10.000 users" or "Close sign up at 5000 and go invite only". Votes almost level as fifty fifty maybe that's why they have decided to close the sing ups.

Tracker has a promising look. Layout is kind of attractive. You can use the bonus/karma points to get invites. When you get promoted to a higher user class you'll get invites. Existing users perhaps get some invites but they have mentioned that their user limit is 5k. Obtain an invites is not hard. Overall a well managed, well organized new tracker with good contents and good speeds.

Pros :
As you can see the huge category list. Good speeds on torrents and the great contents.
Amount of dead torrents is low. When consider this with the tracker's age, this is a very good sing.
Tracker has a good user base.

Cons :
Some categories don't have a single torrent and some of them have very few amount of torrents.
All though they had reached to their user limit pretty quickly, disabled users amount is high.

:: Stats ::

--- SV's main problem is that the torrent database is not categorized into specific formats, as they are at MVids ( like VOB, DVDR, Live, HD... ). Although the browse pages at MVids are as chaotic as at SVids, at least you have that option...to search for a specific format/ quality. Svids is just as SilverSeed was... it was announced to be a bit hit, TBDev codebased, with lots of freeleech and halfleech torrents, auto-upload and scene access... and it died. I hope this won't be the case with SVids, but giving the fact that the only tracker that matters, is MVids... you never know. The good thing about SVids is the fact that you can easily get in ( either open sign-ups, or invites - which will cost you 20 points, or by donating ). So, good luck SVids, but i think it needs more work to be done.

I agree that story about SceneVidz looks a bit similar to SilverSeed one's... I'm saying this because dynamic of new torrents uploading has become pretty slow... I mean, last 2 days not a single torrent has been uploaded... on November 9th, only 2 new torrents have been uploaded... on November 8th, only 16 new torrents have been uploaded... on November 7th, only 4 new torrents have been uploaded, etc... this trackers had an excellent start but it seems like it's in some kind of stand-by mode... maybe it lacks of uploaders, I don't know... in the last round of open signups, they have embraced a lot of new members, so I hope that things are going to change, in a better way...

The tracker used to be known as scenevids. They have changed their domain. Now the tracker goes by bitmaniacs.net. They have also changed few things.
