Tracker's Name : AsiaTorrents
Tracker's URL : AsiaTorrents.com - Asian Movies, Music, TV Drama, Torrent Download Asia Torrents
Signup URL : http://www.asiatorrents.com/index.php?page=signup , but for now the tracker is Invite Only
Tracker's Type : Asian content
Tracker's Birthday : 3rd June 2005
This is the largest asian content-based tracker out there, and keep in mind that it is a movie-related site. Till January 2010, it was known under the name of Avistaz, but then the staff decided to change it to its current AsiaTorrents one. The site The site is basically designed to work for/ and please all kinds of users, being divided into 3 categories : The Blog ( Asian Movies, Music and TV Drama Torrent Downloads English Subtitles: Korean, Chinese, Japanese, HongKong, Thai, Hindi ), The Forums ( forums.avistaz.com ) and The Tracker ( AsiaTorrents.com - Asian Movies, Music, TV Drama, Torrent Download Asia Torrents ). And on top of it, the staff brought up their newest addition, euTorrents, AT's sister site. But we'll talk more about it later in the review.

Userclasses/Promotion
The user ranks are rather simple, so don't expect to find some requirements ( other than ratio ) in order to be promoted. Actually there is no auto-promotion there, and in case you want to be more than a member ( normal user class ), you either donate or upload. That's simple.
Invite System
The invite system is quite simple :
* you'll get invites if/ and when you're donating
* you can exchange bonus points for invites ( 1 invite will cost you 1000 points )
* and probably the best of all : every user that has uploaded over 200 GB and has a ratio at/ above 2.0 will receive 10 invites.
* and of course at staff discretion.

Personal Commentary
I want to begin by saying that this is, indeed, a good tracker, specialised in movies, Tv shows, music torrents gathered from all around Asia... and to prove that i'll let the figures speak for themselves : the tracker has 200 K registered users and a torrent database that counts around 14 K active torrents, with a seeds/leechers ratio of 971%. As mentioned above, the 3 main categories ( actually 4 if we add the XXX - Erotica one ) are :
* Movies - with torrents gathered from different countries ( India, Japan, Korea, China... ). This is their main category, with a sub-division dedicated to HD content.
* Tv Shows - anime fans, will be happy to hear that there is a special section dedicated to them, and also the usual Chinese, Korean or other asian tv shows and a HD content sub-category.
* Music - it's not Jpopsuki, but you'll find plenty of torrents in this category as well.
* Erotica/+18 - from what i've heard people are allowed to upload XXX content as long as it's censored.... err.. why bother?!
So, we have the various content ( like i said 14 K torrents )...but what about the speeds? You won't have any problems there, not even if you have bad home connection speeds. You will find, that some of the older torrents are poorly seeded, and others might even died in the process, but i guess that every tracker has to deal with this problem. You won't have problem with getting and maintaining a good ratio, but if you for some reason have issues the freeleech system brings you :
* Golden Torrents - which as you well know from other trackers, are 100% freeleech
* Silver Torrents - 50% freeleech
* Multiplier - 2x
The forums, as you've seen, is divided into 3 major categories : AvistaZ, AT and euTorrents, and i have to say that the community there is very active ( you'd expect that from those 200 K registered members, right ? ). On another note, the majority of the movies uploaded on AT come with English subtitles, so you don't have to worry about that, subtitles that are brought to you by their special subtitle team. Currently the site is Invite Only, but it often has open registration.
On the downside i have to say that the design is awfully simple and borring, the user ranks should be better defined ( there is no auto-promtion on AT, but there is a auto-demotion system implemented ).
One of the things, AT came with is their sister site : euTorrents. This site, basically runs on the same principles, rules, ratio system, userclass and donation settings as AT. This is not one typical movie tracker, because it focuses on those releases that you won't find on the other trackers, movies from countries like Germany, Spain, Hungary, Russia and even Turkey. The site is not all about old releases, so you can expect to find some new one as well. For now the site is open for registration, and if you are interested you can follow this link :
