About Tracker :

The Swarm, a new Gazelle-based multi-format film tracker, is actually still in a late beta phase but already incorporates some very impressive features. Dual-option parsing, combined with a unique autofill and literally thousands of pre-cached indexed movie pages are just a few of the ideas Swarm brings to the table.

There are approximately 2451 registered users and over 450 torrents as of Oct 25, 2010. There are over 2k active users for this month already. For a new tracker like swarm it is a very good sign. They don't have a huge amount torrent list so far. But torrent count is growing pretty fast.

Almost every torrent in the tracker has at least one seeder so there is no need to worry about whether its dead or alive. Even most old torrents are seeding well. There are some staff recommended torrents there. Those torrents are of course free leech.

Tracker looks more similar to PTP if you are familiar with the tracker. Swarm has different kind of style sheets and Of course the External CSS feature as well. You can change as the way you like it.

Its currently open for sign ups so after that you will receive two invites. Normally power users and above classes get invites. Swarm recruitment can be found at Waffles, What.cd and BTN also.

When it comes to upload torrents there are two ways to do that.
Either you can upload a new torrent by clicking the upload button or upload a different format to an existing torrent. They also have that auto fill and feature. If you have uploaded torrents at PTP you already know what I'm talking about. Swarm connects with TMDb and IMDb. So when you upload something to the tracker, you can import the data about the movie by using auto fill feature from TMDb and IMDb.

Bonus System :

Collection Bonus Points
Bonus points are collected by having your connection open and seeding data. It is a reward for seeding when nobody is downloading from you. The point of doing this is so that movies still get seeded, even if they may not be all too popular. The exact algorithm is:
.25 points per Gigabyte seeded by file size, not upload amount

What to do with the Bonus Points
By clicking on bonus, you get taken to the bonus exchange. Here you can give points to other users, buy upload, invites, and exchange up for bonus points.
