Thread: MusicThe.Net (MTN) Review

I got an invite to the site recently and the site is okay at the moment.

Positives:
1) The tracker is very easy to use and they have a ton of categories.

2) The site is ratioless, so all you have to worry about is seeding.


Possible Negatives:
1) I am a little worried that most of the important/fun forum sections will be non-english. This is one of my biggest concerns as the majority of forums are in Polish (even if you push the english flag for english)

2) Also, at this point, I have to admit, a lot of the music are from artists that I have never heard of but then again, I am not a huge music fan, so that could explain things.

3) Very little seeders at the moment. However, it is a new site and even if there is only 1 seeder, these are music files, so it won't take forever to complete the download, even if the connection is slow.

I am not sure if MTN's goal is to compete with the Ws or be a niche tracker. If their goal is to offer a wide range of music, from all over the world, then this tracker has huge potential and could be very big one day, if they get enough uploaders.

If this place ever grows as big as any of the Ws and it is ratioless, it will be one the best trackers on the Internet, no doubt about it.

Also, I will have to get clarification on what exactly they want uploaded. I uploaded a Soundtrack but I have much more stuff to offer (mainly rips I cannot offer on Waffles because they are already on there) but I am not certain if they are looking for niche or anything is welcome.

I have to upset people who badly want this tracker, the tracker is still working and is doing well :P

Work's fine...only sometimes some torrents whont download 4 nothing.But its ok.

Together with the owner of the tracker we have decided to not close the page. Reached the conclusion that it will continue to lead but in some respects.

1. Registration will be closed to be able to register you will need to take advantage of the invitation, registration will be open only for short periods of time.
2. We will systematically remove inactive accounts, and we have laid emphasis on whether a user is a good user, all the negative signs warn will result in a ban and in special cases.
3. Autoupload is excluded on the grounds to get rid of all kinds of leeches, only after deciding that it pays to turn to what to do.

The decision belongs to you, dear users, if you will still be with us to take care of their accounts and to observe the rules prevailing on the site.
