I'm wondering whether we can do something about the years - meaning, perhaps the 2009 (and older) reviews of trackers should be closed so people are only posting in the 2010 versions? I understand if there's not a newer years review listed, that there'd be posts in the 2009 thread, but take IPT for instance, people posted in the 2009 version today but the 2010 hasn't had a post for over two weeks.
I'm sure there are reasons I haven't thought of for why the older versions aren't closed, but it seems extra congested having two very similar threads active at the same time.
True. There are lots of new things have been added to new updated reviews. It would be great if there were some priorities to new reviews. A sorted list would be great on the main review thread. Like first the latest year's sorted list by following alphabetically then the last year or something like that. Then people can give a high priority to the latest reviews.
--- the whole thing with 2009 having more replies than some of the 2010 ones, is because the page is set to show you the last posted in threads. And usually new comers, don't bother to search in the index for 2010 threads ( of lets say IPT ), and post in the 2009 ones that are visible on the first page.
--- you can change that, by going at the bottom of the page and play with the Display Options.
--- but even so, regarding the 2009 reviews, we're working on merging posts with the 2010 ones, but for that the tracker has to have a 2010 review, in the first place. So, just have a little patience.

Yes Morph. I knew that. But it changes. I meant a constant thing. But its okay. It was just a suggestion. Thanks for the real quick reply and your work above :)
--- by merging posts from the 2009 reviews to the 2010 ones, the 2009 will, inevitable, be closed. 2011 is upon us, and i'm sure that even from january we will see new reviews, so it's just a matter of time before we'll leave as active threads only the 2010 reviews.

Morph, should you perhaps add a sticky in the main Tracker Reviews area to make sure folks looking are aware of this addition?

--- because 2010 reviews are being ignored, and people are intensively spamming in the 2009 ones, we decided that the 2009 reviews that have a 2010 correspondent will be closed, and the posts made there will be moved to the 2010 ones. As we intend to update all the 2009 reviews, by making new ones, those threads will be left there for now, until the whole review database will be updated.
