Thread: Blackcats-Games (BCG) Review

Last review was 2010 but I thought we needed a updated review since a lot of things have changed such as the categories and looks.

Blackcats-Games is an exclusive invite only private tracker that focuses primarily on games but also has a small handful of other categories as well which you can see in the image below. Invites are pretty hard to come by as each user only gets 1 invite every 6 month's, however the site does open for sign up very rarely so if you really want to get in you should check the sign up page once a month. The pre-times are not the best but are good enough. Usually new releases will show up a few hours after they hit several other 0-day trackers. With the seed points system they have in place BCG is basically a free leech tracker, as long you don't hit and run or download to much to fast, you won't get banned. Also the recycle system keeps old torrents alive with a recycle system that refreshes old torrents to the front page and the ability to request reseeds. BCG has a very large and very nice community compared to most other private trackers out there. There is a staff page that list all the staff members user names so you can easily PM them and ask for help. Also a staff box that you can use to just send a general message to all the staff. Undoubtedly the best game tracker out there. It isn't very easy to seed data there but due to the presence of the seed points system the tracker is practically somewhat ratioless.

Many under-rated and unpopular titles that didn't make it onto the general scene can be found here.

Does anyone know if this is a good site for xbox 360 games, i assume it is. I have heard it is the best site for games, but am mostly interested in 360 torrents. Especially interested in how they compare to IPT in that category as far as seeders and how early they get games. Any info would be great. Feel free to pm me

I've never been a member to IPT so i can't compare them. There pretimes for most xbox 360 games won't be any longer than a few hours after they show up at other trackers.

Yea, this really is a great site for any sort of games. Not sure about any of the other private trackers, but pretty much any game is listed and with the seed points system, it is very fair for those that struggle with upload speeds. Highly recommend.

On the 360 front it covers all the releases, pretty much as soon as they are out and the most releases will pick up hundreds of seeders, so no issues with speeds.

this is why i joined this site to get an invite to this heard alot about it and it looks fantastic, was looking for others but this tracker popped up everywhere and had a few recomendations(sp) for this, can't wait.

IPT is a good tracker and I'm sure they get new games just as fast as BCG. But I'm downloading How to Train Your Dragon for the 360 now from IPT for the first time, I usally opt for BCG but thought I'd give it a try this one time. It was only released back in march I think and I'm pretty upset with the speeds I'm getting, took almost 5 days for 7-8 GB. I downloaded Viva Pinata from BCG which was released like 4 years ago and downloaded it in under 2 days. I can't compare scene release download speeds for the two trackers but I'll say there's no way I'm gettting a game from IPT again.

With popular games, there's absolutely no difference whether you download from IPT or BCG. But for older, less popular games BCG is the way to go.

You really can't compare the 2 though, IPT is a general 0day tracker whereas BCG is solely dedicated to games.

BCG is the best tracker i had experienced for games, it has all the games, and with sp points system you don;t have to worry about maintaining good ratio if you are stuck with low ratio for the games you download.
