Description:
Blackcats Games is the best tracker for games in my opinion, and few would argue. Speeds are pretty good and seeding is rather easy, especially with their points system. As long as you seed your stuff for a while you do not really need to have a seedbox for this tracker. In fact it is kind of pointless to have one because they are really strict with Hit and Runs so as long as you just maintain a decent ratio from the beginning and stick to getting your files back to 1:1 you will have no problem on this site even if you're connection is not so great.
Blackcats Games has been around now for 7+ years. They currently have over 13000 active torrents which include everything from the following categories...PC, PS2, XBOX, XBOX 360, Gamecube, PS1, Dreamcast, DS, PSP, Saturn, Other Roms, PS3, Wii, Game OST, Game Dox|Saves, PSXPSP, Mac, XBOXto360, Phone|PDA, iPhone|iPod, Linux, WiiVC, WiiWare, Member Creations, JTAG, Ebook: Technical, Amiga, GB|GBC|GBA, Spectrum, Commodore 64, NES|SNES, Genesis|CD, Nintendo 64, Mame, Ebook: Fiction, Ebook: Graphic Novels, Audiobooks, Ebooks: Non-Fiction.
Profile:
In your profile you have the ability to park your account. So if you want to go on a long ass vacation just park your account so it does not get disabled for inactivity. You can also set it so you can get notified when you receive a PM or get notified when a particular category has a torrent uploaded to it.
*There are two stylesheets to choose from: naito and ICG Station.
*Your avatar width must be 150 pixels and you can upload it to their bitbucket.
*If you are low bandwidth you have the ability to turn off viewing avatars.
*You cannot change your email address.

*Has a lot of useful tutorials for modding consoles, burning games, etc. Use the search button to find anything you are looking for and it is most likely there as long as it relates to "Games."

Torrents over 500meg = 36 hours wait time before gaining SP.
Non-Donors = 72 hours.
Torrents under 500meg = 12 hours wait time before gaining SP.
Non-Donors = 24 hours.
Download torrents limit = 25.
Non-Donors = 5 torrents limit.
20 torrents at a time get SP.
Non-Donors = 10.
5 SP per hour.
Non-Donors = 1 SP per hour.
20:1 seeder leecher limit removed from all torrents.
Non-Donors = Only recycled torrents.
Prize draw is ON. £5 per ticket.
7 Gigs for every £1.
Invitations:
You must meet the following requirements in order to receive invitations on BCG (referrals):
"Users must have 25 torrents in their history, member for 6 months, Badge of Honour, and a .7 Actual ratio. This bit is not actually done yet."
First thing you must know is that your invitee must preferably send you his Gmail email address since "Hotmail (this includes most windows emails if not all) and yahoo Email accounts will not work."
The most important thing you need to know about your invitees is that you are RESPONSIBLE for them. This means the following:
The Benefits for the referrer:
* The referee makes it to PU, referrer gets 5 gig on upload
* The referee makes it to SPU, referrer gets 20 gig on upload
* The referee makes it to Uploader/VIP they get 50 gig on their upload
* The above only happens once for each referee.
If the referee then refers someone themselves, then the original referrer in the chain, can get.
* To PU = 1 gig upload
* SPU = 2 gig upload
* Uploader/Vip = 5 gig upload
* Again this can only happen once per member that gets that achievement.
The Consequences: (this has not been fully thought out yet, consequences are the hard part lol)
* At staffs discretion. Drop Down on the user with.

2. This User and All Referred Members
3. Entire Invite Tree
"Then a box where you can put in what you want. So 10 Gig on download for entire Invite tree, Ban referrals for 6 months for entire invite tree, etc. But Not ban entire Invite tree, unless the whole invite tree are cheaters.
Lets say you refer a few bad users, you have 100 gig uploaded, 10 gig downloaded. So a 10 ratio.
We may very well put your download to 60 gig, so your ratio goes down to 1.8 (so you loose SPU) stop your referrals for 6 months as well for good measure.
This way if you want to get back to your hallowed 10 ratio, you have to upload 500 Gig not just the 50 Gig if we had taken it off your upload.
But that all depends on how bad in your judgment you have been.
If your referrer stumbles into Kitty Litter class or gets leech warned your DL rights will be blocked until he/she recovers from that."
This information has been taken from BCG. So they are pretty strict when it comes to your invitee fucking up. If he fucks up you could lose your account or have a shitty ratio that you will have to finagle out of. Keep this in mind.
Uploads:
From my understanding BCG allows you to upload as long as you follow their criteria which they have outlined below:
"If you do not follow these Guidelines, you are at risk of losing your ability to Upload, We do want Quantity, but we also would like Quality to go hand in hand with it."
"If you have any questions please read the UPLOADING TUTORIAL.
* The tracker's announce URL can be ANYTHING. Just don't leave it blank. It will be filled Automatically by Blackcats.
* If you are uploading on anything less than a 100Mbit Seedbox, only upload 1 game at a time. Once you have got seeds, upload the next.
* Search for the game first! The best way to search is to take 1 distinct word from the game and use that in your search.
* Naming conventions are described in the UPLOADING TUTORIAL.
* Make a decent description. Do not paste the .NFO and do not just try to make it 1 or 2 lines, We do not need a full review.
* Minimum and Recommended Specs are REQUIRED for PC games. Extra information such as Swap Magic and HDloader Compatibility is welcome and helpful as well on Consoles.
* Can you please input at least 1 Genre into your torrent, more would be better though, especially 1 Genre, 1 Region, 1 Age Rating, as not doing so, will mess things up in future uploads."
Requests:
Upon registering you have the ability to make 5 requests. The requests must be within the following rules or they will be deleted and you could be warned or banned depending on how stupid you are.
* All requests must include region or language in the title (NTSC/PAL,JAP/USA/EU,etc) if the platform supports more than one.
* You can now request Packs for a torrent, but be very specific in what you would like.
* No requesting a game/torrent before release date or within 14 days of its official release date. You may request a scene release once it has been Pred, (include the release name).
* DO NOT GO TO THE CHAT ROOM/SHOTBOX TO MAKE REQUESTS. YOU WILL BE BANNED.
Staff:
I feel this is an important aspect to cover because this might effect your overall opinion of the tracker. Staff wise they are pretty strict and they are not very nice. If you have ever had a problem with your account your best bet is to go on IRC and login and visit their support channel. The best thing you can do is ask them what is wrong and why you have been disabled or warned and they might be dicks but they will tell you what you did wrong. However sometimes it is very hard to get re-enabled. You may have to sit on IRC for a long ass time waiting for Cirno or a specific staff member until you can get helped. As long as you don't mind being treated like you are below them then it's not too bad. But they aren't very friendly in my opinion.
