AceHD is a rather new private tracker specializing in HD video. It was founded in summer 2009 and is dedicated to bringing high quality HD content with great pretimes and speed to their users. To uphold those standards, only selected members can upload new content and the site has rather strict requirements to become an uploader. Uploaders need at least a 5Mbp/s connection and have to upload 10 new torrents a week.
Because of these requirements there is a steady stream of new content (~about 20 new torrents a day) with usually very decent initial speeds. Compared to other HD trackers the site is lacking dedicated in-house encoders however, so the content found is seldom exclusive.
The site has a user limit of 10000 users and is currently full. Registrations are permanently closed for the time being and invites are only handed out to a few select members, so getting in is probably not easy. The site wants to establish a nice community feeling among the members, but it is not quite there yet as the forum only gets a couple of posts a day.
In conclusion, AceHD is an interesting tracker with high ambitions that still has a ways to go to get where it wants to be. But since the site is still pretty new there is huge room for improvement and the staff seems to be very motivated to bring the tracker to new levels.
