Thread: TorrentBits (TBS) Review

Because in the last review none of the screenshots doesn't work anymore I decide to make another one.TBS is a pretty old romanian tracker with a lot of torrents and with an active forum.
Their most important rule:
For all new-comers and veteran users, exept the VIPs we remid u that we have one rule on torrents regards:
Ratio 1/1 by downloaded torrent or 7days, from the moment u've finished the download!
From now on, no matter rank/ratio if will be found with leech and run
and no 1/1 ratio by torrent, u will get disabled and banned.
We make this announce because some of u compleind about not knowing this rule!


Their design is pretty simple with the color black in the main sight.The site has some bugs at the moment like:when you search for something the site can simply throw you out or the colors from the interface get a hold;to not mention the missing of buttons for rules,FAQ,forum...

If we pass over this,we have another problem...or more.

Firstly the main rule about downloading is to seed all the torrents at 1:1 ratio without exception,no matter if they are new or old,small or big,single or packs.And the most important thing about this:you only have 7 days to do it.If you are caught with AT LEAST ONE H&R your account will be disabled without taking care about the traffic or the age on the site.I saw a lot of casses with old users with buffered accounts being banned for this reason.

Secondly,the site has no longer a freelech system or a credit sytem.So,if you have a bad internet connection surviving on this tracker can be very difficult.

Now let's see the good parts:the tracker has a big number of members that increases everyday simply because they have free signup from a long time now.Also the number of peers is very big,thing that makes seeding very easy if you have a decent internet connection.

Moreover each torrent is well seeded and no delays will occur for the leechers to appear.The top torrents have great speds as well.About the number of torrents,well it is also big,TBS indexing over 19000 active torrents and the daily uploads are about 25-30 torrents.
As you probably know only uploader class has the right to upload new torrents.

The pretimes are also good,TBS being one of the best romaninan tracker when you talk about pretimes.

I can't access the forums either. wish they had the rules in english. Anybody know if they have any sort of invite system? Do they give invites to power users?

For now their Forum Page is down, the server had some problems last week, but as they say the major ones were solved but still have to face some bugs and minor issues. For example the Rules and Faq pages are accessible only by typing their adress :

I love this tracker! It has over 89,000 members. Very fast downloads. It is kind of hard to seed most torrents to a high ratio, but my overall favorite tracker...besides BtW

good tracker ... with good downloads ..but i dont get always what i want from it :( ..but overall its a very good package

it's a good tracker with about 22500 torrents, and you do get great download speeds, but it does make you seed the torrrents until a ratio of >1 or 7 days...that's a bit too long if you ask me

Another very decent .ro tracker.Speeds are great.Recommended btw forum is still down.I hope will be back very soon cause it's been long time since crash.
