Thread: Freshon.tv (TVT) Review

What we have here is a beatiful piece of tracker that satisfied all needs and demands of its users.It has the best pretimes,a lot of freelech,active forum and irc,strong community,nice invite system,best staff and the list can go on forever.
Moreover any user can upload torrents without applying for uploader class.Rules, FAQ and mostly everything on the site is translated in both English and Romanian.

When you first hit the Home page you can almost feel a warm welcome from TVT.ro
I only have words of praise for Romanian probably best tracker.Almost everytime you log-in you can find new things about Freshon.tv.The big number of options and utilities given to all of the members make this tracker in strong connection with it's members.

Every skin (of the four) is incredible,very clean and easy to use.You'll never get to see any bugs in the system.I'll guarentee you that.Maybe when the staff makes some funny jokes like turning the forum upside down(literally!):).

At the moment there are Active users (702) | Record active users (1155).This trully shows the number of peoples that love this tracker.

Freshon.tv has a lot of original features like recommandations fron ther members and a complete calendar of all the TV shows.

It's easy to seed and mantain a good ratio here because of the big number of freelech torrents.Over 5k free torrents at the moment.
Another nice addition to the browse page is the possibility to select HD only torrents from the rest of the torrents.
The number of uploaded torrents/day is also good with a number of 50 on average and a record of 82.

The forum and the irc are very active,the forum offering a lot of subjects for disscussions.The current number of posts is 62,149 so you can't say a bad thing about the activity.

The rules are simple,like on every other tracker.
User classes:
What are the different user classes ?

TV Noob - Users with a ratio below .50 and who downloaded more than 1 GB for 1 week (7 days) will be warned to correct their ratio. If they don't fix their ratio after 2 weeks they will be automatically demoted to "TV Noob". "TV Noobs" will have 2 weeks to increase their ratio or their account will be deleted.
TV User - The default class of new members. If you have downloaded less than a 1 GB you will only be able to seed/leech 5 torrents at a time. After you have downloaded 1 GB and your ratio is above .3 you will be able to seed/leech 10 torrents at a time.
TV Collector - In addition to the before mentioned class, a TV Collector will be able to seed/leech 1000 torrents at a time, can see NFOs, the Requests list and can change the maximum number of torrents/page (default = 15).
TV Freak - In addition to the before mentioned classes, a TV Freak can see the active users list, can see the tracker's statistics and can make requests.
TV Maniac - In addition to the before mentioned classes, a TV Maniac can see the peers list for every torrent, can see the members list and can use the reseed function for every torrent.
TV Master - In addition to the before mentioned classes, a TV Master can see the Top10 list.
TV Guru - The top class on this tracker.
Guest of Honor - Same privileges as TV Collector and is an elite member and/or helped the tracker in one way or another.
Uploader - Member of the elite uploader team.
TV Operator - Can edit and delete any uploaded torrents. Can also moderate user comments and disable accounts.
TV Manager - Can do just about anything.
TV Director - The boss
How does this promotion thing work anyway ?




TV Noob - Users having ratio below 0.50 and download above 1 GB in one week (7 days) will be warned in order to improve their ratio. If they don't improve it in 2 weeks their rank will be lowered to "Peasant". Again, "TV Noob" have another 2 weeks at their disposal to improve their ratio otherwise their account will be disabled.
TV User
- Promotion: When the user's ratio is greater than 0.50.
- Demotion: When the user's ratio is lower than 0.50.
TV Collector
- Promotion: When the user's ratio is greater than 1.05, his upload is greater than 50 GB and is a member for at least 4 weeks.
- Demotion: When the user's ratio is lower than 0.95.
TV Freak
- Promotion: When the user's ratio is greater than 2.05, his upload is greater than 250 GB and is a member for at least 6 weeks.
- Demotion: When the user's ratio is lower than 1.95.
TV Maniac
- Promotion: When the user's ratio is greater than 3.05, his upload is greater than 500 GB and is a member for at least 8 weeks.
- Demotion: When the user's ratio is lower than 2.95.
TV Master
- Promotion: When the user's ratio is greater than 4.05, his upload is greater than 1 TB and is a member for at least 10 weeks.
- Demotion: When the user's ratio is lower than 3.95.
TV Guru
- Promotion: When the user's ratio is greater than 5.05, his upload is greater than 5 TB and is member for at least 15 weeks.
- Demotion: When the user's ratio is lower than 4.95.
Guest of Honor - Assigned by the Staff members at their discretion to users they feel contribute something special to the site. (Anyone begging this status will be automatically disqualified.)
Uploader - Appointed by the Staff members (see the 'Uploading' section for conditions).
TV Operator - You don't ask us, we'll ask you !
The classes are indeed original and pretty easy to reach.

The staff is great.Anytime want to help and are very generous with the banned users in the past.If you talk nicely to them you're very likely to get your account back.
Moreover the tracker doesn't allow donations.The staff is the best indeed because they do this with love and dedication.

The current number of peers is 180,542 with a record of 219,140.

User classes:



Invites are given out every 1st of the month as follow:
1 - TV Collector
2 - TV Freak
3 - TV Maniac
4 - TV Master
5 - TV Guru and Guest of Honor
These invitations are given immediately when promoting to an eligible class and their number is recalculated immediately on demotion.
The invitations do not cumulate.
At the moment 925 invites are available for the users...so it's easy to enter.

I've been part of this tracker for a short time now and love it. Easy to use and browse.
Originally, setting up an RSS feeds to shows was the hardest part to set up. But once you know where to go (bottom of page click links) it was simple.

Nice review buddy. I just signed up there today and im liking the site a lot :) As you said, the interface is very clean and neat and also easy to use. It also easier to seed on it than on BMTV. Overall is one of the best tv torrent tracker and also the only one IMO that people can use as a substitute to BMTV.

great review man! I am member of freshon.tv for a long time.. Still cant remember the new name - i still remember them as a tv.torrents.ro. But what a tv tracker. And it is so easy to keep a good ratio there. For years they have torrents, that are HD for free.. Even tv show pack are moustly free.. When i start on this tracker i tought that this free "HD shows" will soon and, but now.. they keep them free for years.
I just love this tracker..

I have to say i'm seriously impressed with this site, can't recommend it enough.

I had originally asked for an invite to TVT when someone sent me the invite to Freshon (TVT.ro). Once I finally got invited to both trackers I realized how much better freshon.tv is. I have already found 4 or 5 shows that I already had but in lower res, downloaded them in quality that was 3 times better. Fast speeds, great selection. My favorite for TV Shows.
