Yes, they have engeneering (501 books), art and chess.
PM asking for invites on your own risk. If your PM is incredibly stupid, it WILL be posted in the mocking block.
Thank you to TI staff for five wonderful months!
Does anyone have account both in Bitme and Bitspyder to tell me if there is a big difference in the quantity of the torrents selection between those two trackers?
I have an account in Bitspyder and i am not really impressed with the collection of e-books specifically.
Bitme has now about 13714 torrents... compare that to BitSpyder, since you're a member there.
-- on another note, i am not a member of BitSpyder, but so far i've found just about everything i've been searching for, when it comes to e-books, here on BitMe. The only downside is the ratio there... which as in BitMeTv's case, is kinda hard to keep at a positive level, at least without a seedbox.
Bitspyder has 12040 torrents at this moment. Not a huge difference i think.
Can anyone tell me about the typical file format that bitme has for ebooks? I noticed that their ebook tag has PDF on it but I was wondering how many ePub books they have. Would love to have "native" support to read on the go for my sony reader. (I know, PDFs are also supported, but if you compare the two on the sony, they are worlds different in terms of text size & spacing).
My quick search shows just a couple of batch torrents of random books in the epub format. In general the ebooks are in the pdf format.
I have heard that this software is good for converting from pdf to epub: calibre - E-book management I've never had a need to try it but it seemed to pop up a lot as an alternative to searching out epub books.
HTH
comparing gigapedia(not a tracker) with bitme( just ebook and specially text books), which one is better?
i'm desperately searching for some rare text books?
One of my fav eLeaning tracker . "One of " bcoz there is not to much 3D rarity files :)
Pretty interesting tracker. They had FL a few days ago so I grabbed a bunch of stuff like self motivational videos and audio...haven't used it yet but will be nice if it works :D The IRC is active and I like that and the mods are helpful so that's +++.
