Thread: Pedro's BTMusic (Pedro) Review

I am not personally a member at Pedro so unfortunately I can't offer any personal information or insight into the inner workings of this tracker.I have this pictures from a friend inside there.Hope you'll like them!

Pedro's is a lossless music tracker of official rips only, no bootlegs are allowed. All uploads must be ripped from the original source by the uploader. Uploads are not confined only to CD's, there is a huge range of high quality Vinyl rips and a growing collection of DVD-A and SACD rips available. Also allowed are full rips of music DVD-V in uncompressed ISO format and some audio book type torrents. No lossy compression is allowed in any form.

As far as I know only uploaders can get invites and only by request.This meens that obtaining an invite there can be very hard.
But being such a great tracker makes it's members proud of it.

oh cmon ...this is one of the most overrated tracker again...there are just 618 pages,so even if each page has 20 torrents..the total number of files would be just 12000 odd...whereas what.cd has 185000 perfect flacs(normal flacs extra)...so pedro is simply hyped when it has nothing much to offer...anyway thanks for the review...my suggestion for anyone trying to look for a music tracker is to search for what.cd ...trust me,its one of the finest tracker ever to be exist relating to music...

LoL you cannot be serious m8...what is just good with numbers....if you are not inside this tracker(or got no clue about why this is sooo good) you have no rights to say anything about it....waffle IRON hand is much better then WHAT...where you can upload naythign you want.....well today whole day I was doing reserch on this tracker....and you know they have absolutly awesome upload system...you cannot upload any shit or any creepy quality there...read the upload rule.....I have seen some fine rips from them...and I can say they are brilliant....a must have for FLAC lovers...

Actually, if you're into FLAC, What and Waffles are both better than Pedro's. If their respective guides are followed, the rips will be pretty much the same as all of the important settings are the same. The main difference with Pedro's rips are a strict adherence to their rules, i.e. naming scheme, tagging, etc. The quality of their encodes should be identical to both Waffle's and What's, if the guides are followed, which is often the case.

And, I'm pretty sure the only difference between What's logchecker and Waffle's Waffles Iron is that Waffles checks the pre-gap info to try and determine if the rip is from a CDr. However, checking the pre-gap info is far from fool-proof.

However, the artwork often included in Pedro's rips is nice and something that is lacking at both Waffles and What. But, really, I can live without the booklet scans.

yeah i am not a member of pedro but what i am sayin is what.cd has 185k "perfect flacs" meaning those 185k torrents are perfectly ripped!!!so if we apply common sense,we can easly make out that what.cd is ofcourse much better than pedro's.. right???yeah i also agree that waffles' iron hand is good...i uploaded my rip to both what and waffles...what gave me 100% log and whereas it was verified completely by waffles iron...so both what and waffles have almost similar way(if not same) of measuring quality of rips...if we come to number of torrents ,what beats waffles and pedro's( 800,000 vs 300000 and 20000 respectively)..so i thought what.cd is the best...maybe pedro's offers booklets and all , which can be found in almost all public trackers...

Well, I do not know where you get you number of pages from but as of today, July 3rd, 2010, there are 1245 pages with 29 torrents per pages which makes a lot more than evaluated. Anyway, even more than 36 K is just a number. As a member for close to 7 years, I can confirm evrything that has been said in the review: it is a very good one and not overated believe me. I would love to go to What and Waffle to compare and I am closely watching these for opening.

I just got in awesome tracker .There have different ratio system then other trackers and easy to keep a good ratio here .

Ill be honest this tracker has some really wierd rules, like over seeding and stuff like that, but its a really great tracker, if your into hip hop or techno or stuff like that, then this isnt for you, country, jazz, rock is what gets realeased the most here :) i love it and illl be applying for uploader on there ;)

I have been one of that goods guys from 2005 to 2007. Pedro Bt Music was the best. Then I moved to a small city in he middle of brasilian Amazon where there was no adsl connection and I loose my account. Now finally I have an ADSL connection again and I would love to get in again.
