Thread: CosaNostra (CN) Review

This is my favorite tracker in terms of community and design. Every idea implemented into this site has worked successfully, and if you are somebody who enjoys movies and community, then I highly recommend filling out the application.

i think currently there r no invites after the stuff saw this mass of threads for trading on forums

I think only a few trusted members have invites at the moment. The application is closed also, I believe.

I haven't found much here that's not on PTM, but it's still a nice tracker. The layout is great, unlike any torrent site I've ever seen. It really feels more like you're browsing for a movie on netflix or blockbuster than on a torrent site.

I really do not understand what all the noise is about this tracker I got in through application and has not impressed me in the least constantly overloaded and down, I have yet to see any positive aspect of being part of CN

I agree, I had tried my best not to sign up to this tracker mostly because of their own ridiculous hype and how they sometimes treat their members in terms of "security breaches", as if their own public recruitments are anywhere near discrete. However, I eventually did as I do like movies, probably a little more than the average person, and I was thoroughly disappointed. I hate the layout more than any other tracker and they lack any unique content.

I find most of their features and requirements for advancement to be too distracting for a torrent site. It's nice to spur some activity, but not at the cost of actually using the tracker. I mean come on, I have to buy little images of weapons to advance, really? lol.

However, I really do like the incentives for long-term seeding. Their option to commit to seeding for various amounts of time is something that should definitely be implemented at other trackers that could benefit from it.

CN have his PROs and CONs.
For me , more PROs.

CN is more a "community" than a "torrent link forum"
There´s a HUGE difference between both of them.

In a "torrent link forum" doesn´t matter if you like that kind of movie...doesn´t matter if you will talk/help another user...doesn´t matter NOTHING.. the only thing that matter is DOWNLOAD and UPLOAD and keeping your ratio positive no matter what you do.. (It´s a free for all and every man for himself... Seedboxes...uploanding a part of a famous file for gain upload rewards...and so on)

In a "community" the files and sharing become a secondary part in the history. Of course it´s important and is the "main" target of the community.But all the conversation , all the help for another user , all the "upgrade system" is based on H2H (a new term here.. Human to Human..) You´re a not only a "peer" on this site like many others.

CN is a very damn hell organized "community"
with a amazing interface , ruled by well done rules , that make it a special forum on the sea of tracker out there..

Security , design , upgrade system and users far better than many torrent community. Have a respectable (but i agree ..not huge) collection of well-shared files. Have a descent collections of movie-fans users (ok..not a huge too)

In any moment of my life i thinked that quantity is better than quality. So here too.

If you think that will find here a infinity of no brain peers and a inifnity of all type movies (Really do you need 1.000 of releases of the same movie ???) , of course , it´s not your place here...

And yeah..it´s hard to come in.
But , like others says , you have tons of torrents sites out there with too many no brain leechers and seeders to satisfy your appetite to only download.
