    Pass the Popcorn

PTP used to be one of the more easily obtainable good movie trackers. But recently they have introduced much more strict policy concerning invites, thus making obtaining one significantly harder task.

Still, it's one of the best movie trackers with more then 24000 torrents, most of the movies are available in several different formats. Speeds are good for new torrents but aren't really that great when it comes to older torrents for most of the time (some very popular movies might be an exception), but such is the case on other trackers as well.

PTP uses Gazelle source code so site looks clean and it's easy to navigate through it.

All in all PTP is great movie tracker and if you like movies and are looking for movies tracker you should definitely consider it.

The layout of the site is wonderful. Clean, crisp, and when you look up a movie you can see all the formats available on the same page. Each entry includes a picture of the movie cover, a detailed plot, and often has an embedded youtube trailer.

I think PTP is a lot more than a tracker, it's also a reference site.

Excellent review. IMO, PTP is THE best movie tracker out there in terms of selection and content. Requests are usually filled quickly (decent bounty helps), and the userbase is active and helpful. Some other stuff worth mentioning:

    - They have a nice torrent verification system where every movie uploaded has to include 3 screenshots and rip details which is verified by staff. This helps to ensure a high level of quality for torrents on the site.
    - PTP's database is linked with IMDB, so you can view actor/director pages directly on the site which includes pics/info and all the movies that particular person is in.
    - Members in the forums will upload any DVD you want from Netflix.
    - Exclusive content: there are high quality x264 rips by PTP's encoding team and many other rips you won't find anywhere else.

    Anyway, I <3 PTP.

PTP was one of my first trackers, and while I prefer others for HD content, it is indeed a must have movie tracker!

this is an excellent tracker. lot of selection and hard to find movies.

You should have taken a look at screenshots (home/news) before posting, if you'd have done that you would have seen that both user and torrent statistics are available there (as on most gazelle based trackers):

Next time please take a look first before you post.

EDIT: I just see morpheuss already posted same thing (thanks), I was a bit slow...

Is this tracker back online? I heard it was undergoing maintance or something...
If so, Are invites open yet? are they considering open interviews?

I would assume it's back online if their website is online.

Not sure about the invite situation, however.

Yeah, this was an excellent review. I was thinking about searching for a PtP invite before, but I'm most definitely interested now.
The extremely organized way the place seems set-up really appeals to me(and of course h264 HD content).

Considering I just got invited by Jenna, the invite system is up and working.

This is THE movie tracker. It has a large userbase, only quality uploads, 1000s of movies, freeleech on almost every bigger HD content. It has rare movies too, and the most exciting for me is they have
EXCELLENT MINDS running the site. Strange that a couple of months ago I had dozens of invites and they've been rotting as nobody wanted them. Back then, an UG invite worth more lol.

Cool tracker, even more cool review! Thanks!
