    Scene Access

SCC is arguably one of the best private trackers there is today. After the fall of ScT in late November 2009, most of ScT members moved to scc. This makes the site even better. The majority of its users owns a seed-box which make the site's speed incredibly fast. Getting to the site is a privilege for everyone and not everyone is invited. For the site's security, I'll remove its banner and site name in the review. If you know how good it is, and you really want to join, I'm sure you'll find a way. ;)

    Home/News
: This page brings you the latest information about the site as well as related important news from the outside.

SCC is well known for its speed in pre time, download/upload speed, its amazing contents and retention time. With torrents upped just seconds after pre'd, it's not a surprise that many trackers use the site as a source to get scene contents. The oldest torrent on the trackers dated back to early 2007. Other than that, the tracker also has an archive to keep good contents for a longer time.

    Torrent Categories & Browse Page:

Above is the main browsing page of the site. You can find here all categories of a 0day tracker. This section is not free-leech. New members without seed-box are not recommended to download here right away. Because it will be very hard for you to seed against other users with seed-boxes.

Below is the MP3/0day apps section. All the contents here are free-leech, but you are subjected to keep seeding the torrent for at least 36h after having finished download its content.

Another free-leech section is the Archive as I mentioned above. This is where all the movies, TV shows and games are found as packs. You can find here weekly packs, random packs, x264 packs, DVD-rip packs... The same rules as Mp3/0days applies here. You have to seed for at least 36h after downloading it. Newbies will love this Archive as it does not only provide you an awesome source of contents but it also helps you boost your ratio up.

The forum of this tracker is always active with latest news about the site or about the scene's releases... You can get great helps here in the appropriate sections (Torrent, Hardware...)

Like many other private trackers, the site is supported by donations. You also get other privileges when you donate to the site.

Rules: We are really paranoid when it comes to the tracker's security which involves in invites, account sharing...

User Classes: The site has different user classes ranged from user to legends. Other than that, we have VIPs, Uploaders....

The website is constantly upgraded for better browsing speed, error free, bug free. A new version of website will be coming in a few weeks which makes the experience of this tracker is much more better.

If you cannot find this tracker in the mid-level tracker list, it's simply because it's better than that.

    Great review!

SCC is THE best tracker available for what it strives to do, which is to provide scene releases as fast as possible. It consistently leads in non-spam pre-times. However, due to the relatively large amount of dedicated gbit boxes, it can be a real pain to seed normally here. Most users find that they have to augment their ratio with the abundant freeleech packs, which is not always ideal, but it's a small price to pay for not having a seedbox.

I've been a member here since open signups, which I think only happened once for a very brief time, in its infancy, and I can whole-heartedly recommend this tracker to anyone that wants their scene releases as fast as possible.

PS - SCC is a Scene tracker (not a General tracker). Also, it's important to note that if you have a ratio of at least 1.5, you are free to HnR with impunity.

I don't often go to Home page either, but when I started browsing the forum I was like WTF when I see the Scc v2 Beta section :D

They've done a good job upgrading the servers and all. With the new version I'm sure the experience will be awesome. You're lucky to get to use the Beta version so soon :D I'm just Lover class so it's still a long way to go :p

I just logged into v2 myself. To be honest, it's still inferior to many other layout designs out there. I suppose it's a tad better than it's predecessor, but nothing really worth hyping about. Two years is a ridiculously long time to throw out something of this caliber.

Edit: I guess I was a bit harsh in my first comment. I'm going to post the things I do and do not like.

First off, the background pattern. Damn thing gives me a headache when I scroll through the site. In my opinion, the BG should be in a fixed position.

Invite tree. About friggin' time. We now have access to our invite tree. I could now see all my good/bad invitees. Just noticed some of them are pretty damn good. Thanks guy for not screwing me over.

Torrent comments page. Clean enough. It's obviously easier to quickly leave a comment as oppose to clicking the "add comment" then submitting it. Not sure if you were able to edit your comments before, but you can here.

I do like the logo. The crown definitely looks better than a butterfly.

Icons. Still ugly. Not much else to say. They need someone better to do the designs. The font used is also too generic.

I guess that blank field to the right of the screen, below the search bar, is going to be a chatbox or something. That might be interesting.

They've also added a buffer field next to your ratio for challenged people who don't know how to subtract.

The forum is still plain, but I guess that doesn't really matter.

Oh, and the 1 px off is now fixed. If you were bothered and know what I'm talking about then you're suffering from OCD. =)

Overall, it's still inferior to numerous tracker layouts out there, but it's definitely a step up from v1.

I can see what you talking of from the screenies on FSF. IMO, the biggest improvement of this beta version is that they have categorized MP3 section with music genres. No way that they can match with music trackers but that's definitely a big plus for a scene exclusive tracker.

Anyway, seeing it as just a Beta version, that means they still have plans for improvements :D

Just got on this tracker from the waffles power user forum. Can't say much about it yet but I have noticed how terribly inaccurate the search feature is it returns anything that matches any keyword. For example, say you're looking for Race.On-RELOADED, searching for "Race. On" will return it(restricting the search to GAMES/PC ISO). Searching for "Race.On-RELOADED"(in GAMES/PC ISO) will return 9 pages of reloaded releases, in which, I have no idea where Race On is...

Hahahaha yeah. SCC's search engine is friggin ridiculous. Anyways, you're definitely not on the beta so I suggest you use that instead. I just ran the search "Race.On-RELOADED" and it came back with only one result. That's one of the major improvements whenever they implement v2.

I'm pretty sure the beta is available to all userclasses now so give it a go.
