The approach that AnvilofSound takes is to create a complete and permanent archive of all electronic music. Specifically live sets, user hosted content, and past radio broadcasts.

The Internet is a place that constantly changes, content is available one day and disappears the next. Countless files are lost to hard drive crashes, system errors, and just general network instability.

The goal here is to create a public, user accessible archive of anything of/by/about electronic music. If you have something that you don't want to see disappear, create a torrent and post it here. If you lose the file for any reason, a distributed network of seeders will insure that the data exists in multiple locations and will not be prone to complete data loss. This site is not to "backup" your copyrighted material, please only livesets, radio recordings, and other material that is not available for sale.
