MMA-Tracker is IMO the premier tracker to date for anything and everything MMA. Invites are easy enough to procure for active members; the current rule is that one receives an invite for each 10 GB uploaded (see rules screen shot). The caveat to this is that they are tough on cheaters AND the member who brought them on board, and rightfully so. This makes invites a bit more difficult to come by than other trackers because no one wants to risk their good standing in this awesome community. The speeds are wonderful, easily hitting 1.5 Mbit on popular torrents; however this may make it difficult for some folks to seed but there are some strategies one can implement to get by. One such strategy is to utilize the free leech torrents; so if you’re experienced you won’t have much problem with ratio as long as you plan before you snatch! The highest ratio that is “required” is .5 with 100GB of download unless of course you want to upload which requires a ratio of at leat .6... (but of course we always aim for better than 1).

VIP: Same privileges as Power User and is considered an Elite Member of MMA Tracker. Immune to automatic demotion.

Moderator: Can edit and delete any uploaded torrents. Can also moderate usercomments and disable accounts. You don't ask us, we'll ask you!

Overall a very sweet tracker of which I'm proud to be a part!

Cant say enough good things about this tracker: living in a country where MMA is at best frowned upon, this site is a life saver everytime a savage beatdown festival is taking place anywhere on the globe :)

Mostly just me being too picky, but "1.5Mbit" equates to around 187.5 KB/s.
I think what you were shooting for here was 1.5 MB, which is much more in-line with what most people consider to be decently fast.

"b" = "bit" = 1/8th of a Byte
"B" = "Byte" = The unit that we usually use to describe data sizes
Though many companies revert back to using bits to make their speeds sound faster than they are. 8 times faster, considering that most people mistake that for Bytes.


Anyways, great review. MMATracker is definitely the best place to pick up all things fighting these days.

The big question for MMA fans is:
how can I get the UFC as quickly as possible after the PPV has ended?

Imo, this review could be improved if it focused more on answering this question. However I appreciate and thank the reviewer for his efforts.

MMA-tracker gets the "main/scene" rips of the events pretty quick, but I'd say no quicker than sites like TL or even Usenet.

MMA-tracker also have members upload their own rips which can be much quicker than the scene releases, but sometimes they take forever to download since the uploader have limited uplink.

So my conclusion is MMA-tracker is great for ALL types MMA, but most of the time you will be able to get the main UFC PPV's from other sites just as quick.

That's really interesting. (I thought that scene just meant like straight away as soon as it has been released on DVD or as soon as the PPV is over (but I am new to this whole scene). So scene for you means when a tracker or a group associated with the tracker pools it's resources and get's something out quickly with a fast upload/seedbox sort of thing?)

Anyway, I imagine a problem with TL is that (unless you have "contributed something special to the site or donated" and got VIP status) then they don't let you download stuff straight away? But there are many good trackers out there. So far I have been using XtremeSpeeds and they max my internet connection but I was hoping the specialist MMA trackers would do a better...is pre-time the right word?

*Undoubtedly* there is a group (or groups) out there with a similar sort of status to SCC that streams the UFC as it is being broadcast. But because that live broadcast is more attractive to us than "tape-delayed" torrents, they have to really keep under the radar, lest Dana and his lawyers try to make them go the way of dinosaurs. Thus it is much easier to find out about SCC or C* or U*-*.

I have been using this tracker for just a few days but so far I am not impressed. Staff is very rude, and so are the members, not a friendly environment at all, more like the boys locker room. Also full of nude/gross avatars/pics so forget about browsing the site at work or while the wife and kids are around.

Content is also not that great considering its a tracker dedicated to mma. Not very well organized, you can find most of the new events but if you are looking for the older shows like UFC 1 thru 40 you won't find them there. Very dificult to seed so far, downloaded 5 free leech torrents and haven't been able to seed anything back yet. I heard you can get your ratio up if you download one of the new events quickly because they usually are free leech.

They are really pushy when it comes to collecting donations but you don't get alot in return for your donations, just upload credit $1 = 3gb so to me there is very little incentive to donate.

Big disappointment so far and that is too bad because I am a huge MMA fan and I was really looking forward to joining this tracker.

sorry to ask this but im a complete noob, i dont get what u mean by ratio proof and speed test, is there anyway i could just get the invite or if not could u walk me through how to post what u want.

Well, I guess I wasn't expecting too much. I like this tracker, nothing to complain yet, and it does have:
