Acid is a general 0day tracker with some scene access. January 18, 2010 they've celebrated their 4th birthday.



Although there is a global ratio, they are a individual ratio tracker, meaning their rules apply to each individual torrent and not your ratio as a whole. Pretimes are also available with the torrent if it was a scene release.

There are many unique features to the site such as an Live Radio, Arcade, Custom Acid IRC client and even an Acid Shop to buy paraphernalia.

Unlike many other trackers, the forums is a main section of the site.

The staff are very respectable and are great friends with many of the current members. They are also friendly to newcomers! The staff also host live sessions on their personal radio.

AL or ACID would like to be referred to only as AL or ACID outside of their site.

We are now awarding you all for filling requests!!!!!

We welcome everyone to go and take a look at our request section. As of today we are giving you 2GB Freeleech Credit if you fill a request. If you find a request that you can handle please be sure to mark it as handled, that effectively marks it as yours. There are 2 ways of filling a request, uploading it as per normal then going to the torrent request and clicking on Manual fill and putting in the torrent ID (e.g 61873) or you can autofill and it will bring up our upload page which once complete will do the same thing.

New Announcement:

Currently Utorrent 2.0 is banned from site and may remain that way. If you have already updated to 2.0 then we suggest you roll back to one of the accepted earlier versions. 2.0 is currently being carefully tested and discussed widely across many sites atm, however the reports so far do not look encouraging.

Its a great tracker and im part of it but im wondering are they down? Every time i go to the site it doesn't go through.

It recently upgrade itself to be a secure tracker.

So fast-forward to today and we are now offering you a lighting fast, load free secure server along with that acid touch you have grown to love. We have also enabled the use of ssl (https) so you can access the site over a secure connection. If you have already installed the cert we posted about the other day then you're all set, head over to our https version and your done.

I had some troubles the other day but seems to work great now. Have to follow the instructions to install certs....but not a hard thing to do.
