    RevolutionTT

RevTT is a general 0day tracker with reasonable but not great pre times. The format is is clear and concise and easy to navigate.

Upon being invited to RevTT you will be given a small upload credit and be subject to waiting times based on your upload and ratio as follows -

Ratio below 0.50 and/or upload below 2.0GB delay of 16h
Ratio below 0.65 and/or upload below 5.0GB delay of 9h
Ratio below 0.75 and/or upload below 7.0GB delay of 6h
Ratio below 0.90 and/or upload below 10.0GB delay of 3h

I found it reasonably easy to seed here as the pre times are a little slower so downloading from another tracker and cross seeding is a good way to get your ratio up. There is no freeleech or bonus points here so you will have to make it own your own.

They have the standard user classes and donations can be made to obtain either VIP status or alternatively you can buy varying amounts of upload credits. (which will help if your new on a slow connection i guess).

The community is friendly (in my experience) and reseed requests can be taken in the forums. Invites need to be requested and are fairly easy to obtain if you meet the criteria.
You will need to be a Power User or above and this will entitle you to 3 Invites as long as your ratio is >1.00.

Overall i find that i use this tracker as maybe 2nd or 3rd on my list of trackers however the thing that sets this tracker apart from the rest is the lack of rubbish torrents. Mostly only major releases are present which makes it easier to navigate. I personally also like the top ten torrents list, the list only shows the top torrents of the last 48 hours however i think this is useful as you can see the most recent major releases always listed on the front page (saves having to scroll through pages of torrents for major new releases)

Hope you all enjoy the review!

RevTT, in my eyes, is essentially a harder TorrentLeech. Sure, the wait times may be better, but RevTT is a seedbox haven. You'd likely become roadkill for the 100mbit ravers even if you have a decent home connection.

Cross-seeding makes this place a lot more livable, but seeding will be slower than turtles. Don't get frustrated if you find yourself upping a mere few MB a day. It's probably going to take quite a bit to get a good buffer, get promoted to PU or stand a rat's chance at obtaining invites.

In theory, the speeds should be amazing putting wait times aside.
That being said, IPTorrents satisfies the craving for speedy torrents/scene stuff well enough, as well as being worlds easier to seed and maintain a good ratio until you're ready for higher-level trackers.

I might be exaggerating things, but beginners may want to consider staying away for now.

I'll try to be active every now and then, but no promises -- drop me a PM if you need anything and I'll respond within a week.
EDIT: Scratch that, within a month.

Defiantly agreed with what Kirby said, when i first starting using RevTT it was very hard for me to maintain a good ratio, i pulled out all the stops and still came out with a ratio of .5. My upload speeds on this site compared to many of the other trackers I'm on are much smaller. While this may seem far fetched to some of the more experienced torrenters, i would defiantly recommend the new users that unless you have an above average connection or seedbox you wait for this one.

I have been a part of this tracker for 3 and a half years, and it is the only private tracker that I am a member of, so I'm not going to be able to make comparisons to other private trackers.

I could tell you about when I first started, but to make the review more relevant, I just want to talk about what I think about this tracker now. I get great speeds on just about every torrent, except for the older ones with only a few seeds. This holds true for both my connections - recently I started using a seedbox and even with the much increased speeds I can max out the connection most of the time (of course, not for uploading).

I definitely agree with one thing Kirby said: this can be a very challenging tracker for beginners, especially due to the wait times for new users, unless of course, you're willing to donate a few bucks and get VIP status.

I'd have to disagree about it being harder to seed here; RevTT is one of my favorite trackers for several reasons and the ease of seeding is one of them. I have no special internet connection and do not cross-seed at all and I have a ratio of more than 4 with no problems. I guess it just depends on your seeding habits; I've posted some basic helpful hints here and have had very good success with these strategies. The most noteworthy thing about RevTT is, that IMO, you should not make this your first tracker due to the high amount of bans there. I see people join regularly and get banned within days because they either break some rule or they don't have a clue on how to participate in a BT community. Yes learning how to leech and seed properly is part of being in a BT community. Learn on lower level trackers first and then move up slowly because this is a very good tracker and you'll really regret jumping in too soon and getting permabanned. Hope this helps.

Since joining RevTT in mid March I have found the pre-times to be outstanding!

I have found them to be comparable to SCC at times.

    This Tracker grew on me.

When i first joined it had the wait times , and i dint really see what the fuss was about, however it has now become my number 1 site for new releases

Its pre times are excellent and the speeds are great.

Not a great site for Packs and can be hard to seed back, but IMO no. 1 for New relases

Unfortunately i was banned on RevTT. Had it for like year and when i finally moved to better connection they banned me. I guess they tought i was cheating, but they could at least ask for proof. But i must admit its great tracker.

I have hard time to maintain a good ratio (above 1.0) from them since I find it is quite challenging to seed back. I would be interested in how to do the cross-seed though.
