in comparison to other trackers like IPT (think most people could seed blindfolded there) it is hard to seed. the "hardness" of the tracker doesn't prevent you from downloading, it just makes you think twice about it. there are enough active users so torrents don't completely die out after the first wave of downloaders like on BiteMeTv.

not sure about how many users have seedboxes but I don't. my connection is okay so seeding is alright. can't complain about the speed and release times. i wasn't wowed by it at first, though it's grown on me. Rev might not be an ideal main tracker for some, think of it as medium hard.

Way back when RevTT had wait times for certain ratios/user classes. Not sure what the details on that are now or if they even still have it.

There are a number of seedboxes present there. When I run one I seed heavily there myself and have tossed up 1TB in a couple weeks no problem.

The best way to make it there is to partial seed in the beginning. Anyone that firsts joins would do well to see the "Help" thread in the forums; it is LOADED with people who join, download, and then freak when they see that their ratio is rapidly in the tank.

Grab a couple files from a movie DL, cross seed stuff from other trackers, learn to setup your RSS for popular TV. Try all restraint on downloading big until you have a buffer in place.

It can be a tough tracker for those new to heavy usage privates, but it is not impossible by any means to succeed there.

I think I'd be okay on this tracker with my seedbox.

You would be fine with a home connection. I survived for 6 months before getting a box.

It definitly takes an effort to build a ratio there without a seedbox, but as others have said it can be done. Just be patient in the beginning and you'll do fine.:001_smile:

RevTT is doing a hell of a job. Lately they kicked SCC's ass on some torrent pre's

Revo's excellent I've been with them the longest, I've had no problems using my seedbox with them

what gives? obviously the whole seed seed seed ratio ratio ratio encourage ppl NOT to download but just keep seeding. IMO it's seriously stupid because what's the point if all ur encouraged to do is seed and get good ratio. sure it'll help others download faster... it also will help them get banned even faster cos no one will ever leech. there def should be a time based point system. otherwise it's just plain stupid... well unless u wanna "pay" for all ur uploads... which goes against every torrenting moral rule there is. pretty much defeats the point of bitorrent if u pay for it

The no freeleech aspect at RevTT kinda sucks, but Ive never found it hard to seed. When Im at school, if a scene release hits, and I jump on it early on, I usually get ridiculous ratios out of it, like 15:1 or something like that.

I have a seedbox right now, and havent had any issues seeding on it either.
