Thread: RevolutionTT (RevTT) Review

I'm on SCC, TL, IPT, PTM, TD, HD-S... and am just wondering if it is worth asking for an invite and maintaining a ratio on RevTT, given that i'm already part of aforementioned trackers.

RevTT has decent/mediocre content..
SCC has better pretimes than RevTT
Also the staff and admins @ RevTT are complete assholes..

wow, you guys are being very harsh and in my opinion... unrealistic. it sounds like the same2 or 3 ppl spamming this thread about how much RevTT sucks... and that is just childish. Some of which the demeaning comments have come from users with only 1 post and 0%, so probably the same person with multiple accounts bitching again just to make it seem more realistic, lol. Ive been with this site for 6 years now, I'm able to maintain a VERY healthy ratio with just a home connection with an upload speed of 5mbps or about 650kb/sec upload max. Whoever said they kick people off left and right and are desperate for members is one of the most ridiculous things I;ve heard. This site hasnt had open signups for almost 2 years now it's been closed to invite only. And when they DID have open sign ups it only lasted for a few days. Thats because everyone who has accounts uses them and appreciates them. This site has better PRE times than ALMOST ALL of trackers out there. It also has a huge variety of stuff from appz, to movies, video games, and pr0n. So you dont need multiple accounts at multiple sites just to find what you are looking for. As far as torrents going dead I almost never see this happen. Even torrents from years ago have at least 1-5 seeds on them and is capable of giving decent download speeds. I never have a problem maxing out my upload speed on their tracker either. One of the better trackers in my opinion. Its not filled with useless junk either like i find alot of other trackers are. Other sites like to look more full and seem like there is a better selection but upon investigating it is alot of times useless junk that never gets any downloads, or it will be the exact same file uploaded like 15 times with different group tags on it... RevoTT is one of the top trackers and in my opinion it is #1 for sure. ............ And to all you trolls... get back under your bridge or in your cave where u belong, dont pollute this forum with your nonsense rhetoric.

I know you weren't being specific with any one site (and while I'd definitely say that applies to IPT in the highest order, and less so on TL, though still somewhat of a presence), this is completely untrue for SCC. Anyway, while a lot of the multiple stuff you get on IPT is a joke (bad p2p group BR/BDrips, R9, or other cam recorded crap), you can't exactly say having a CHOICE is a bad thing. Obviously it can be in the case of IPT, but I think the TL selection is welcomed... as some people are looking for specific quality, while others are more concerned with HDD space. Thus, its nice to have the option when you need it.

This of course is in no way a rebuttal of the other statements of quality regarding RevTT; just the quoted material regarding SCC specifically.

I agree alot with what you said. Choice is definitely not a bad thing. But why do I need 10 different 720p rips of one movie... then of course there are the 10 dvd rips, 5 1080p rips, and dont forget the 20 screeners that came before that lol. Personally I have never been a member of SCC so Im not sure the quality of that site. Ive heard some decent things and wouldnt mind giving it a try sometime if i stumble upon an invite.

from your descriptions, SCC sounds similar to RevTT. But I know what you're saying about overkill, and i agree IPT is EXACTLY like that, which is one of its most major downfalls (and you're right, there's no need for that sort of redundancy). I think you'd REALLY like SCC, provided you don't mind everything being strictly SCENE released (and RAR'd).

To be honest, I feel almost compelled to check out RevTT now, though its doubtful if I need to.

alright alright, no need to be shitty to one another. everyone is entitled to their opinion, people are free to give their negative opinion about RevTT just as much as he's entitled to say why he thinks they're wrong.

the beauty is we can, hopefully, do this without attacking each other.
