SuperTorrents or ST in short is a General 0Day tracker and as of today has over 22000+ users and 16000+ torrents. They have officially changed the name to ST now. ST tracks movies, games, TV shows and other general stuff except music of course as they also have a sister site dedicated to music called STMusic or STM. ST has good download speeds and pre times. In addition to individual releases by scene and non scene groups there is a good number of packs as well.

ST has been around for almost four years now and it was never an easy ride for them. They were plagued by hackings, uploaders leaving, controversies surrounding donations and various internal disputes. However things have started to look better now. They have many projects in the pipeline to improve the overall look and feel and also incorporate many new features.

Here's a quote from the site's announcement to the same:

The most dramatic change we are undergoing is that of our name. SuperTorrents will become simply ST. This is not only to break free from our previous reputation but to freshen things up with a new design and new feeling over all

Upcoming ST 2.0 features:

New layout, designs & Slogan - Possible addition of custom style sheets
New Ratio System - Stripped of the outdated & obsolete standard of download vs. upload
Removal of Seed Bonus - As the ratio system is redesigned there will no longer be a need for seed bonus
New Class System - Abolition of outdated promotion/rewards system
Revamped Request System - Request bounty, credit only taken if request filled, etc
New Browsing - Style changes, mixing of scene with p2p, member-selected category icons (Already underway!)
Weekly Packs - Weekly packs of various content chosen by users through a dedicated polling system separate from main polls (Already underway!)
Additional Categories - Anime, ebooks, etc
Revamped User Uploads - Allow bumping to main section, no restrictions, quality control through member voting (Already underway!)
Free User Uploads - Point systems allowing users to make their torrents free leech for increased download activity
Chat Integration - Integration of ajax chat into the website for increased activity

Rules

By following these simple rules you can ensure yourself that you will be a long lasting member here at ST. Good luck!

:: General Rules - Failure to adhere to these rules will result in a warning or a straight ban!

• • Don't be rude to staff.
  • If a member of staff tells you to do something...do it!
  • Do not upload our torrents to other trackers! (See the FAQ for details.)
  • Disruptive behavior in the forums or in IRC chat will result in a warning ( ). You will only get one warning! After that another mishap will result in a permanent ban!
  • Do not ask for invites for other trackers in Forums and/or IRC. In fact, there won't be any invites requesting/offering/trading allowed in forums/IRC! It can result in permanent ban!
  • Do not even think of trading already formed ST account and/or ST invites for some other tracker ones - you will get permanent ban here and on almost all private trackers that count something.
  • Don't connect to the site or tracker from ips that are obviously not wanted here - this includes government ips, software company ips etc. You will be banned without warning

:: Downloading rules - By not following these rules you will be warned or banned!

• • After you've downloaded 5gb, if your ratio is above 0.5 but below 1.0 you WILL receive a warning and be given time to improve it, fail to do and you're out.
  • In the case that your ratio is not above 0.5 after you have downloaded 5gb your account may be banned. The accounts are automatically evaluated by the system after a two week period.
  • Do not download excessively right from the start as any new user who reaches 20GBs without uploading to due ratio will be banned ASAP without any explanation. This 20GB limit can and will be moved lower at staff own discretion based upon personal judgment and user actions at the time of inspection.
  • The use of banned clients through deceptive means will not be tolerated. These clients are banned for good reasons. See the FAQ for more information on allowed clients.
  • Don't hit and run torrents - this means downloading and then not staying to seed. This ruins the torrent for others and it also ruins your chances of ever visiting this site again. The minimum seed requirements for a torrent are a ratio of 1:1 or seed time of 48 hours (2 days). Failure to maintain this can and will result in disciplinary action.

:: General Forum, Torrent Comments, and IRC Guidelines - Please read this before posting on the forum, breaking the rules there can also result in a warning or ban

• • No aggressive behaviour or flaming (deliberate comments to instigate an argument) in the forums and torrent comments.
  • Don't post unnecessary comments in threads (spam)
  • Only English in the forums and elsewhere on the site. If we can't understand it, we can't moderate it.
  • Try to keep foul language to a minimum, there are very few cases where it's actually warranted. We have all ages reading the forums so please think of others.
  • Absolutely no links to serials, keygens, warez etc. are allowed.
  • Do not ask for any either.
  • Don't 'bump' threads (making unnecessary posts to gain attention for a particular thread).
  • Please don't post large images unless absolutely necessary. A link is much better.
  • No double posting. If you wish to post again, and yours is the last post in the thread please use the EDIT function, instead of posting again. You also risk the wrath of allpowerful, a Moderator who hates double posting!
  • Please ensure that your post is in the correct section, if it doesn't fit a section use the General forum.
  • Please use reasonable grammar. Psts like dis wil b deltd n u wil b warnd.
  • Do not ever ask for invites to stmusic or any other sites.
  • Only sitenicks are acceptable to be used on the IRC network.
  • Please do not post "spoilers" in the comments of any release.
  • Last but not least, PLEASE read the FAQ before asking any questions!

:: Avatar Guidelines - When selecting a picture for your profile, please keep the following in mind:

• • The allowed formats are; .gif and .jpg.
  • Be considerate. Resize your images to a width of 150 px and a size of no more than 150 KB. (Browsers will rescale them anyway: smaller images will be expanded and will not look good; larger images will just waste bandwidth).
  • Try not to use offensive avatars (think religion, nudity, injuries). Extreme cases of these will result in a warning or ban. If you're unsure whether a picture will be appropriate pm a Moderator.

:: Invite Guidelines - Think about who you're about to invite!

• • Don't invite yourself. Duplicate accounts will be deleted and you'll be warned or banned.
  • Do not invite other people from your computer, ip or connection. These will be caught automatically and will lead to at best a warning, at worst a site ban. If you think you have a good reason to do so, speak to a staff member first. You have been warned!
  • Know the person, at least online, that you're inviting. If you keep inviting badly behaved users/cheaters we will ban your account.
  • Absolutely no invites requesting/offering/trading is allowed in forums and on IRC!
  • We don't tolerate invites giveaways on shitty trading public forums either. Once we catch you - you're out of here.

:: User Upload rules

• • DO NOT upload music.
  • DO NOT upload anything over 5GB.
  • DO NOT upload anything already on the main or user torrents page, do a search before any upload.
  • DO NOT change the titles of scene releases and keep them in their original format.
  • YOU MUST title your uploads in the correct format according to its category if it is not a scene release.
  • DO NOT upload more then 1 thing at a time. You must wait until your upload has at least 3 other seeders to upload again.
  • YOU MUST make adequate descriptions. Saying "View NFO for more info" is NOT acceptable. Include relevant technical details, an adequate description and any helpful links.
  • YOU MUST make adequate NFO's that include IMDb links if its a movie, a good description of the upload, and any relevant technical details.
  • DO NOT upload more your upload speed will allow. If your upload speed is lower then 50KB/s you should not upload anything over 700MB's.
  • YOU MUST select the option below to mark your upload as a request if you are filling a request!
  • NO bestiality porn, NO scat/Xtreme category, NO snuff/necro, NO rape (that includes rape fantasy) and NO child porn. Any users caught uploading child pornography will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children’s CyberTipline.
  • If you're not sure if something is allowed, please speak to a moderator first before uploading it.

Something special about the tracker

ST runs on a customized tracker script which is absolutely unique and probably you won't see it anywhere else other than its sister music tracker STM or STMusic. The interface is user friendly and it has almost all the commonly requested features on a general private tracker.

its a decent tracker with lots of content but for people that are new to torrenting especially on private trackers I'd recommend IPTorrents. But still you cant go wrong with supertorrents I just think the staff is nicer on IPT

This was more first site and i as I learnt more and more about torrent sites i couldnt understand what the fuss was on about TL, SCC, RevTT etc .

Supertorrents is easy to get an invite , has very good pre times and the speeds are excellent.

If your not concerned about getting a torrent the exact second it becomes available, get an account on supertorrents and you will probably never need another torrent site

Pretimes are good
Speeds are excellent
Good Range -re packs , TV , Games, Etc

The only thing i dont like is the new design.

But as I said if your not hardcore torrents and check for torrents once a day ST is a good as any site out there and pretty easy to become a member too.

I have been with ST for 6 months now and I got my invite by chatting in there IRC channel and the guy who invited me is now on of my best friends on the net & I have been on here a good for years now! ST is great for speed and around 50 to 300 torrents a day. you will get movies music games that you need her and once again IRC is a great laugh and you have ST Radio as well! Top Notch Tracker and great peeps :))

st was my first private torrent site before i had a break. they are always underrated tracker in the past and now. very ironic.

UNDERRATED??? I think its OVERRATED! ST has the SLOWEST pretimes I have EVER SEEN!!! If you look on trace.corrupt-net.org(click LiVE), then you'll see what I'm talking about. For the best "first trackers" I highly recomend IPT or DH. Both are easy to seed.

Better then any other tracker I'm on. Their community, speeds, irc, support, and selection make up for getting a movie or TV show a couple minutes later if I'm spamming refresh on my trackers.....

Well,it's my fav.They have everything,alsou a good music section.The down/upload connection it's great.Love it :)
