Thread: Waffles (WFL) Review

Waffles is one of the greatest music trackers out there, with almost 300,000 music torrents in all kinds of genres. Although it might be hard to seed, it's definitely worth the effort. Since you can upload your own stuff it's not even that difficult to maintain a good ratio.

The invite system works as follows: There are anytime invites and normal invites. Anytime invites are invites that you can hand out to a friend at anytime, no restrictions. You can buy them at the shop, although they are currently not available. Then there are normal invites, which are handed out among the users from time to time, but are only active during certain time periods, a few hours for example, when they let new members in.



The forums section is pretty nice, and what's definitely interesting for people from T-I: They have an SCC request thread for Power Users, where a sysop of SCC invites anyone who requests an invite.

If you donate 5$, you get a donor status and other privileges.

Overall it's an excellent tracker, with good speeds, a lot of content and a good community.

This is in my opinion the best music tracker, I have WI approved torrents uploaded, once you get the hang of uploading its easy.

I've noticed a number of other trackers have a process for getting in through an interview process on their IRC channel. Does Waffles have anything like that?

I'm not sure as i received an invite from a friend when they were just starting out. I do know that I use waffles almost exclusively for all my music. It's all about the Waffle Irons Approved FLAC and they community is overall great. This is my favorite private community.

I recently joined Waffles. I've been looking for freeleech torrents, but so far I haven't found any. Freeleech torrents have been really helpful for increasing my upload total on What.cd. Does anyone know if Waffles offers them?

I don't think they do but if you visit the shop they have half freeleech, 24 hrs freeleech and other options that can be bought if you have that amount of bonus points.
