Thread: BitMeTV (BMTV) Review

Exactly how hard to seed is BitMeTV? Could someone survive there with an upload speed of 2-3Mbps and no seedbox? Does it ever offer freeleech? How would you compare it seed difficulty to What.CD? How would you compare its seed difficulty to Waffles?

I don't have waffles or what yet, however I know that it's easily one of my hardest trackers. The music trackers (db9 & stm) are generally also very hard.

The only way I've survived (with seedbox) is via crossseeding from TvT.

There is no freeleech.

2-3MB upload is ok, if you crossseed, however your progress will be slow and your ratio will be hard to maintain. Also you've gotta be very quick with new releases.

I wouldn't recommend this tracker myself. TvT (freshOn.tv) has all the same content, only very slightly later, and is way easier to seed. Not worth the effort if you ask me...

Im in the same dilema. I would recommend cross seeding to build up a buffer so that you can download freely later on. I tend to get decent upload speeds. I think BitMeTV is easier to seed to than waffles because there are not a lot of leechers on waffles.

Go get BTN. Download all of the latest releases from there and find the same torrent on BitMeTV. BTn is ratio free, and ull get easy upload credit on BitMeTV.

I don't understand. If you are downloading all of your shows from BTN, what is the point of being a member at BMTV anyway. In my case, I manage to max out my connection on most of the new torrents on TvT.ro and BTN, so I don't need the added speed bonus that BMTV may or may not provide to there users. I'm pretty sure that BMTV also is not that much faster in terms of pretimes than BTN, and many times loses in the races. I'm not currently a member at BMTV, as I honestly don't need another tracker that is hard to seed on, and because TvT.ro and BTN are more than suitable for me, along with TvTorrents.com for some older shows or hard-to-find stuff.

cause BMTV is amazing. I don't want to worry about my ratio later on, so im improving it now. Of course, i can download from BMTV instead of BTN, but if I dont manage to seed(because of the stereotype "if you dont have a seedbox, ur screwed", i dont want to even RISK losing my account), ill get banned. I want to keep my account, and hopefully build up a big enough buffer to help me start off and itll help me get power user int he long run.

Sure other trackers are better than BMTV for you, but building up a buffer to have a good backup is a good idea. BMTV has really fast speeds, and later on, i think ull find yourself using BMTV a lot more because of its high rank, speeds, pretimes and to gain a sense of achievement by obtaining power user or above.

really great tracker But hard to seed. I do cross seeding for survive to BitmeTV

its the hardest tracker to seed of all the trackers today:))))))
but i really like this site and devote 24hours a day seeding this awesome GOD site for TV shows:))))

I've found it has more hard to find shows and the torrents don't seem to die as often. Its a great place, but seeding is difficult.

To be very frank.. BitmeTV was my worst nightmare.. :P :P

Back in days when I was a n00b.. I became a part of it I got 3 warnings for low ratio.. in the end I parked my account and later went inactive due to personal reasons.. This tracker have the rarest of the rarest TV Shows one can't even imagine.. The best TV tracker in my views with only problem of having too many high speed uploaders.. so if you can't cross-seed you will have hard time on this one.. In minutes you will see 50 seeders on your favorite show..

I remember those days when even seeding from 3 different machines wasn't helpful for me to stay away from warning.. This is the website that taught me cross-seeding.. lolz.. :P :P
