HDBits has made that promise a couple of times before only to cancel the opening due to traders/sellers. The irony is that it is their own invite policy that encourages these activities.

I remember when HDBits was about as popular as Bit-HDTV or any other HD tracker is now. Invites were plentiful and easy to get, making them less valuable for traders and sellers. Now, we have a situation where accounts or invites are often sold for hundreds of dollars. It's really a situation of their own making.



That is not to say that the only way in is through trading/buying. New members are always making their way to HDBits. But, the vast majority of users do not have the capability to invite; they do have invites though.

Quick question. I have BitMeTV, so is this site any better? What can I get here that I can't anywhere else? BitMeTV already has alot of HD content.

Some HD tracker only has 2-3 internal encoder, but look at Internal Encoder in HDBits (some of them, people upload to other site) :



Maybe you see some familiar name like Esir, CtrlHD (which people often see on another tracker). So about quality on all torrent, there is no doubt i think?

On this tracker (hdbits) you have 23000 invite limit. When that number is reached they stop accepting new invites so no new members can join. So all is possible... The old accounts have always some invites (mine for ex!).

Enlightening review. Although right now it is close to impossible to get in, cross fingers to obtain invite soon.

No, the guy that gave me an invite literally works with me. I told him about this site today.

I'm downloading my first torrent right now. What I have seen so far is that there are a ton of seeders, which is a great thing but if you are trying to build up a strong ratio, it is a problem.
