DesiTorrents is one the biggest tracker that offers Desi content; Mainly Indian and Pakistani content such as movies, music, tv shows and desi p0rn. The tracker and community is based on vBulletin code.

This review was made since the last review conducted was 2007 and changes have occurred.

Rules

GENERAL RULES

Do NOT buy DT invites from anyone other than DT.
READ the Content Release Rules before releasing anything on DT.
The Release sections are ONLY for releasing torrents, do NOT post messages or requests in those sections.
Regular post messages can be made in the Chai Time section.
CHECK the Tutorial Center guides and FAQ before asking questions.
USE the Request Center for ALL content requests.
Do NOT advertise other torrent sites by release name, torrent name, or content within the torrent file, release page, or forums.
Your status on DT will dictate the level of access you have to multiple features on DT. If you don't see some feature, please visit the usergroups FAQ to find out why.
Post all help questions relating to torrents, the site, and releasing in the Need Help Section. The TechSquad will help you there.
Use the Reporting System to bring releases, posts, and comments that break DT rules to Moderator's attention.
There will be ONLY 1 account per person per lifetime on DesiTorrents. Duplicate accounts on DT constitutes dishonesty; as such those accounts will be disabled.

User Classes

Speeds: 8/10 New torrents are often seeded Seedboxes, so speeds are very good and because of large userbase Old torrents get good speeds as well.

Content: 9/10 Content, Just about all of your Desi needs will be met there. There are also alot of old rare movies available as well.

Community: 6/10 As of late the community has died. DT has handed out invites to spur new life into the community and hopefully can go back to its originally very active community.

Another great thing about this tracker is that after donations are met torrents are free leech for remainder of the month.

Actually we can register to desitorrents without invites but the only problem is that we have pay 10euros for a regular account and 35 euros for a vip account...if they reduce the price, it would be good..apart from this, site is really good with plenty of dedicated stuffs...

Well I don't think there is any need to pay as the invites are not that rare for the site...But for sure gr8 site... ;)

How exactly does the invite system work in DT?
i have been looking for this tracker for a long time

• Ripper/Releaser Groups: 3 invites
• Extreme User: 2 invites
• Power User: 1 invite
• DT Sponsor: 3 invites
• VIP: 2 invites
• Donor Regular: 1 invite
• Donor Bronze: 1 invite
• Donor Silver: 2 invites
• Donor Gold: 2 invites
• Donor Platinum: 3 invites
• DT Legend: 3 invites
• DT Elite: 2 invites
• DT Veteran: 1 invite
• RazorSquad: 1 invite

The amount of invites given to the users are valid for 6 months. Once 6 months have passed, everyone will lose their remaining invites. Reason being so that a user can't stock up invites.
Then a new batch of invites will be given to the users, which will be valid for yet another 6 months.

The invite system has been disabled by them. It has been done recently due to bad activities by the members who were given invites. They say they will never open invites again. :)
