    Default Vortex Network | VN | CLOSED | 2009

    Vortex network is a Gazelle based Mac software tracker with a few other bits and pieces of apple hardware compliant movies, shorts, iPhone apps ect.
    This tracker was born after Brokenstones got taken down and quickly rose to be the dominant mac tracker, but there was some big drama and mods and users started deleting their accounts left right and centre. It was around this time that STC started up (i think), and of course Brokenstones came back. All of these things led to the demise of Vortex, and is now just a shell of the tracker it once was. There isn't much of a community, very little posting in the forums, and the IRC is dead in the water.

    the people are very nice there and the style is one of the best imho.

    as for me i'm glad the forum is not polluted by threads like 'what's your fav. pet' or countless almost identical posts about lockerz e.g.

    and i have no idea why you call the irc 'dead in the water'. i've had so much fun in their irc especially over the weekends.

    the site is definitely not about quantity but quality.
