XtremeSpeeds is a general purpose tracker that has an assortment of current movies, UK/American tv shows, games, apps, and a large contingent of WWE and MMA fans. The home page contains a Shoutbox which is usually disabled during major sporting events. Download times vary from blazing fast to horribly slow depending on the uploader and seeders. Admittance is by invitation only.

Notes about XtremeSpeeds: This tracker has a very friendly membership that is always eager to help newbies. They love helping folks learn the basics of torrenting. You don't need a seedbox for this tracker and it's easy to build up/maintain a good ratio. I found this was a great place to start building myself up so I could get qualified for the higher level trackers. MMA and WWE fans may want to join as it seems the fights get posted pretty quickly.

I agree with the above review. I like this site, it's very laid back, it often has upload bonuses on certain torrents and I've gotten really good speeds on new tv shows. Usually new shows (many in HD) are posted shortly after they've aired. They have a good (not great) selection of movies, and lots of mma. They aren't very good with games or apps though. I'm not sure of they're still invite only because they've had open registration for a while now.

Good review. I love this site due to the fast uploads of HD tv shows. GREAT download speeds and easy to seed as well. One downside is the slow updates on games especially xbox 360. Great site nonetheless.

Also to mention is this website gives out bonus points for various things, such as seeding torrents, and you can use those bonus points (which really add up fast) for buying invites, or upload credit .

I love xtremespeeds. My most used site. Their torrents are all unrared. and their pretimes are pretty good.

Xtremespeeds was my first intro into a private tracker and i love the place. The people are helpful and nice. I love the shoutbox chatter and the torrent speeds are great!

When I was at primary school there was like one person that got bullied by the main bully
and everyone else joined in because they didn't want to get bullied themselves.
Why am I mentioning this? Well the shout box at xtremespeeds is exactly like this.

It's sad to watch decent members get treated like crap and then banned
by the staff, whilst other members join in with the insults,
and you can't say anything about it or else you'll get treated the same way.

Are all tracker shoutboxes as rotten as this?

XS is my favourite tracker for the primary reason that all torrents are unpacked (no rars/zips.) The speeds are reasonable, and a generous number of bonus points for continued seeding.

Power Users and VIPs can upload their own torrents, which is great.

There's an IRC channel which posts the details of the latest torrents as they release so you don't need to continually refresh the page.

Kleptomaniac, I haven't noticed any of that in the shoutbox.

Fantastic tracker for newbies, and great to show off huge ratios as it is extremely easier to seed than most other trackers. Would recommend to any beginners interested in private trackers that are new to the private tracker scene.
