One of the best, if not the best out there, as far as content goes it has tons and tons of everything and is still very rapidly growing.

The whole country is using it, so pretty much there are no dead torrents.

Some categories are russian-specific, some are most definitely not (music, movies, soft)

You don't need to know Russian to navigate through. Use one of automatic translators, find the needed category, the heading for foreign titles is in dual language - Russian and original. Asian stuff is spelled in English, rather than hieroglyphs.

This is a national tracker, so there are some country specific requirements. For example, Foreign movies or shows must have russian audio as either separate track or voice-over or subtitles. What it is exactly for this torrent is clearly specified in the description, that can be translated via google, for example.

Forum discussions must be in russian. Some folks use automated translation to ask something. It is sometimes odd result, but in most cases quite understandable, just try to use simple grammatically correct sentences without slang in your language and automatic translator will do an adequate job.

Rating. In a way it exists, in a way it doesn't. It changed as of this summer. The review lists the old version of rating rules.

Now, if you have pathetic rating under 0.3 you can only download three torrents a day from a site. If this is enough for you, you are in a rating-free zone, basically.

There is a new time bonus system - you get points for seeding continiously. When you download torrent from site - you get deduction in points. Only relevant to those with low ratings.

Rating above 1 gives you ability to download 100 torrents a day from a site (that will queue them up in your torrent client nicely).

There is no freeleech. It existed when the site moved. Gone again for now, unless if you consider three torrents a day scenario. oh and any small torrents under 100 MB are freeleech, this is a new rule too.

Some content is not allowed there, cause of right holders. Mostly Russian movies, Russian music and software (Microsoft :P)

The best tracker I know, and IMHO the best tracker in the world.
You can find rarest things there, which are not present even on Demonoid with all popular open trackers all together.
Thought it has some problems:
Release times are not so fast (6-25 hours), like on private trackers.
Many hot torrents closed by copyright holders especially in Games category. For example you can't find Starcraft 2 there.
Though this is Russian tracker, I would still recommend it for language independent content.
This tracker has huge amount of electronic music. Just few minutes ago I have downloaded pretty rare electronic music torrent which had 280 seeds compared to 5 seeds on Demonoid.
This tracker is HUGE, download speed is ultra fast for Europe not sure about Asia and US.

P.S. You will not find any other tracker where you can download all 2137 episodes of "Santa Barbara"

Lots of unique content on there. It can be a little hard getting it translated but well worth the effort.
