Tracker Description

Freshon.TV is a ratio-based TV tracker. First thing you notice on this tracker is a very nice design. It stands out right away. Even though TVT is a Romanian tracker, everything is translated into English. Announcements are written in Romanian and English and are displayed side by side. There is a tv news section but it is Romanian only, however, I don't think English speaking users loose too much here. Browse page features the latest torrents, again nicely designed. If you wondering how hard it is to maintain a good ratio, well you need not worry. All HD season pack are freeleech and all (or more like 99%) single HD episodes are half-leech, you can see it labeled "50%" (browse page screenshot below). Creating a nice buffer is quite easy. If you only download HD content there is an HD tab that displays, here comes the shocker, HD content only. Freshon tracks over 11K torrents, which is good number I'd say. Compare this to BTN which tracks almost 60K torrents. One downside, at least for me, is that torrents are not organized by seasons or tv shows. If you click on any torrent it'll take you to that torrent page and that's about it. There is a bit of info about that torrent's show, in Romanian, see torrent page screenshot below. Forums are quite active and threads are all a mix of Romanian and English.

Ratings & Personal Commentary

Content: 7/10

There is enough content to go around. Lots of seeders on freeleech torrents. Old torrents are healthy as well. Very good place to get the latest releases.

Speed: 7/10

Speeds are good. But a few times I experienced very slow uploaders for season packs.

Community: 8/10

Community is diverse. Forums are active. English speaking users will fit right in. But the majority of posts are in Romanian.

Comparison to other TV trackers

• Freshon is a very solid tracker. I'd recommend it to anyone who's looking for a good TV tracker. You can find all the new TV releases here. You'll never have to worry about your ratio as compared to BitMeTV where you'll have to think three times before snatching a torrent. Abundance of freeleech torrents creates a very relaxed atmosphere. Of course there is ratioless BTN where you just download away all you want.
  
• Freshon is not the best place for English speaking users if you are looking for a good community. This is a Romanian tracker and other TV trackers have a lot more to offer in the forums and IRC. BTN has a great forum and great invite section with lots of unlimited official recruitment threads. BitMeTV has an invite section but you have to be a VIP or above to access it. VIP requires a 3.0 ratio, all I can say here is good luck getting it. Unless you are planning on uploading shows or cross seeding I doubt a 3.0 ratio is achievable.
  
• Speeds a generally good in comparison to other trackers. I don't see a clear difference here. Every TV tracker has some slow torrents you'll just have to live with it.
  
• I do have one issue with Freshon. It is a lack of organization. Torrents are not organized like they are on BTN. BTN has a TV show page where torrents are categorized by episodes and seasons. This is a very neat feature to have on a TV tracker. You can checkout screenshots in a BTN review to see what I'm talking about. BitMeTV lacks organization as well.
  
• I really wish Freshon had some kind of bonus system. Makes seeding not a totally useless activity if you are not actually uploading. Bonuses make people seed for longer, but Freshon manages to keep users seeding for long times even without bonus system. BTN on the other hand has a very cool bonus system, the longer you seed seasons the more bonus points you get. You use points to promote yourself when you qualify. BitMeTV has no bonus, bleh.
  
• I like the promotions on Freshon, you get a little perk for every userclass. BTN has an interesting promotion system as well. You get access to corresponding userclass forum and for the last Master userclass you get unlimited invites. BitMeTV is a looser here again with just PU and VIP and not much benefits for reaching any of these userclasses.
  
• I'm a little reluctant to discuss pre times as these TV trackers extract scene torrent and that takes time. But really the differences are negligible. If you think you'd get a torrent faster from SCC, keep in mind that you'll have to do the extracting yourself and that takes time and extra space.
  
• BTN > Freshon > BitMeTV

To add something: Freshon tracks about 10k torrents because everytime when a season is finished, the torrents that will remain on track, are the season packs (for each version, hdtv 720p web-dl), and the separated episodes are removed.
And about donation system, there is not any and will never be, maybe if they ever run out of money. They are fair, and if they ever open a donation system, is just to make the money they need, not more. They didn't ever take the advantage of donations to fill their pockets like other trackers do, this tracker is a hobby for them and not more.

Yes. You can see request list if you are TV Collector userclass and you can make requests if you are TV Freak. I'll add that to the description.
