It have some of the best encoding team .
You can find there the developer of the x264 and other program,script, filter etc. developers.
It have the best forum for encoding , HDTV capturing and generally HD, big community with a lot of active members.
But the don't have the exclusive source that they had on the past, today most of the blu ray are uploaded first on the Chinese trackers.
They dont have any freeleeches so its hard to keep a good ratio , but the requests are filled fast and almost all the users have seedbox.
They have dupe rule so only the best encode for a movie will remain on the tracker .

In comparison with other HD tracker they have some of the best team on encoding but you can find their encode on other HD trackers ex. BHD and HD-T or on general tracker like TL.
Most of the sources are from Chinese trackers ex. CHDBits and HDChna.
Invites are close almost all the time and they open only for a few hours.Only staff and vip ( vip inst the donors its a different userclass ) can send invites when they are closed.


Some of the internal teams are : CtrlHD, EbP, DON, CriSC, H@M, LinG, PerfectionHD, jTV, UxO, NiP, NorTV, iLL, DD, EucHD, AtZLIT, somedouches, SMoKeR, CJ, TsH, TjHD, Chotab, VANiR

So, I understand that it`s better to have Chdbits.org .. as you say:

Well, I spent two hours yesterday to create a nice review which I wanted to post on the 1.1.2012, that we have one year in between, but that's gone now, perfect. How I love wasting my time.

When I joined HDBits, I was actually kind of disappointed, because you can find most of the releases elsewhere, but after some time I really got to love it. Those are the things you probably can't get on other trackers, or are on other trackers not that good:

I don't think that you can compare them.
Chdbits priority is to release first the untouched blu ray and their crappy encodes .(Better from scene but worst than other p2p groups)
HDBits priority is always the quality of an encode.
So it depend on what you are looking for.

• HDBits is the tracker with with the most WEB-DL , they have at least 2 teams that are releasing WEB-DL, but you can find almost all of them on BTN and TVT. And people prefer the scene release because WEB-DL are uploaded 1-2 days after the HDTV release

• I totally agree on that. And the documentaries that they release are proper deinterlaced .

Generally i don't think that HDBits is as good as it was in the past.
It still is one of the best tracker for HD but it has lost the old glory also a lot of people want to join the tracker only because it is hard to get invite ,they don't care about the content of the tracker.

Nice tutorial. Heard a lot of wonderful thing about this tracker, especially regarding the exclusive contents on it.

Thanku for putting in the screenshots for this new review else most of us wouldn't even know our dream tracker looked like ;-).

Now my main question is, when are they letting me in. As i can see around a 1300 or so capacity left on this tracker. Any news about there 2hrs invite signup ?

People join all the time, approximately 20-40 people per month, but the problem is that they have still a lot of bad users in the tracker and as soon as they announce they will open, a lot of people will try to make money with it.
The current system works good for them, because opening a tracker like that usually brings more bad users than good ones, even though it may be bad news for most of the users here.

I don't really understand why we have a 2009, 2010 and 2011 review now with all pretty much the same content.

To answer your question why almost the same review every year, is for people to be jealous of the one posting the review lol .
No offence but its high time i got in too and made my own review for hdbits...!
But judging from the requests time frame in the request forum, the odds look astoundingly low...from where i stand ;)

HDBits encodes not really that good as u guys thought they are.the only decent one is ctrlHD,DON is not really any better than chd though.chd wasn't as good as they used to be coz there are more new encoder now.older encoder don't do encoding much now.hdchina is the worst encoder groups in all.low bitrate and rubbish setting.and i am gonna give the vote the AHD as the best encoder group coz they encodes are the most transparent one compared to source.they have superb groups like de[42] and D-ZON3.anyway this is my personal thoughts.
