    Default PostFile (PF) Review

Postfile is a scene/0-day tracker with a substantial amount of content (within the past month - see orange below). It was surprising to see when I had compared and contrasted the releases of PostFile with some other popular prestigious 0-day trackers, PostFile has most of the releases found on others, but also has some releases which are exclusive to PostFile (within the past month - see orange below). This tracker works through a ratio and does offer freeleech torrents for buffering your torrents but there's only 5 currently.
If you look at the picture of the homepage, it provides a poll which changes from time to time. The current poll is asking users their current speeds. 59% of users who voted claim their upload speeds to be 1 Mbit/s or more. This is good to see because it implies most users have seedboxes or at least a decent home connection.
One of the most important things about this tracker is the small userbase. I haven't been a member for long but I'm guessing it has around 5,000 members who visit quite frequently. Though the torrents have a small amount of seeders, I was surprised to see that they only had about 50 torrents which were dead. The most seeders on a torrent during time of post is 57. The most snatched torrent during time of post has been snatched 336 times.
What this tracker does lack are some options I see on most other trackers. It does not have an IRC (that I know of), a request page, nor a staff contact page. These three things are something I'd think you'd see on almost all trackers today. But, due to the size of the tracker, I'm not surprised that this is the case. Overall, this is a decent tracker for somebody who doesn't download much content and wants a small userbase. It feels cozy and simple!

If you're wondering why I said 'in a month' in the above text, a fellow T-I member explained it quickly and bluntly it :

Hard to seed, forum with more spam than anything else,, the same standard 0-day content you see everywhere, little freeleech and the worse: the Time to Live feature is enabled, wich means every torrent has a fixed life and will be deleted after that life expires, even if there are seeders.
I don't know why bother with this site.

No, really, what makes this tracker appealing to you? It is something you can put on words or you just feels a connection with it?
It is certainly not for me.

Old Filepost was just like this one when it was dying, except that there was no forum activity, this one has just spam there.

when you think about it, that's what YOU're looking for in a tracker. I for one agree with you that the tracker is far from what I want in a tracker because I look for the same things you do. But, that doesn't mean this tracker isn't suitable for others. People looking for quick week in and week out releases for TV shows might enjoy this site. Especially people from countries which really pull out the ban hammer on people who break copyright laws. I'll agree most people don't want the site. But hey, it will be suitable for some.

There are better places to race your weekly shows, with more speed, retention, pres, etc, etc, but i can't argue if your only searching for a securety placebo

Sorry Hybrid, but Fractal's review told me exactly what I needed to evaluate the tracker.

It appears to be just another 0-day/general tracker, but with major downsides. There are so many good 0-day and general trackers out there, a new tracker in this category really needs something special to make it stand out.

A good addition to the OP would be a sort of the torrents by most snatched, most seeders, most leechers, and the stats page listing # of torrents, users, etc.

Oscar, I'm not arguing with Fractal that he is wrong. I totally agree with him that this tracker is like a leftover ham sandwich sitting next to a 5 course gourmet dinner. But if you look at what I wrote, I ONLY STATE FACTS. I don't say it's a good tracker (well, i do, but that's subjective. i say it might work for certain people - which I know is not most). Look at what I wrote and decide for yourself.

I posted this , not because I like the tracker, but because it's a small-time tracker that has been around and there's no review for it on here - plain and simple. I'm not taking sides, but I what I do ask of Fractal is to not downtalk the tracker so excitedly. If you read what I wrote, it's enough for a user to say 'I'll check it out,' or, 'looks shitty.' But, I will say his information was valuable and I included something he said in the text above.

And in response to your suggestion - I had thought about that already but there is no use since torrents are deleted within a certain time period. They'll always be changing. Also, there is no stats page that I could find. I'm assuming there isn't one. If you must know though, the most seeders on a torrent right now is 57. The most snatched file has been snatched 336 times.
