General Information
SWEtv is a Swedish tracker that aims to offer a digital re-run database of TV programs and movies from Swedish TV channels. The material is ripped and uploaded by SWEtv's own dedicated rippers/uploaders, often only a few minutes after the programs have been broadcasted.

The goal of SWEtv is to create an interest for Swedish TV, where quality and a large variety are prioritized before speed. However, the speed is not to be frowned upon either, since I usually have no problems maxing out my 100Mbit seedbox connection. The language of the site is in Swedish, and there is little to no point in joining this tracker unless you are Swedish or Scandinavian, or have an interest in learning Swedish, as no other material than Swedish speaking or Swedish subtitled material is allowed.

How to join?
It is possible to exchange bonus points (see below for the bonus point system) for invites. and hence invite your friends. Furthermore, you can also use a form to request an invite: SWEtv form. It clearly says that international users living outside Nordic countries, having no connection to these countries, will not be given an invite. You are only allowed to send one application, which should be as well formulated as possible, for you to be considered for an invite. Also, Swedes living outside of Sweden are prioritized for invites. See below:





Freeleech
A few torrents each day are freeleech, so it is not very hard to maintain your ratio at SWEtv.

You can choose a weekly overview of TV programs that have been aired and ripped, sorted for each day.

Bonus System
You will be given bonus points when you seed a torrent; when you comment on a torrent you have downloaded; when you upload a torrent and when you fulfill a request. With these bonus points you will be able to purchase minus GB downloaded, invites, request slots, freeleech, buy yourself free from a warned torrent, and give away bonus points to other members:





Rules
There are a few rules to follow, as can be seen below (nothing extraordinary) with regards to cheating, the forums, requests, images/avatars and uploads. When it comes to downloads, you need to either have a 1:1 ratio for each torrent, or seed the torrent a certain amount of hours depending on your user class/ratio, while keeping an overall ratio above 0.05. If you fail to properly seed up to ten torrents, or keep your overall ratio above 0.05, you will receive a warning:

SWEtv is a privately funded tracker and not dependant on monthly costs, yet it is encouraged to donate to meet the demands of the users and for the improvement of the tracker. It is possible to donate via Paypal or Flattr:

Between the 29th of March 2011 and the 5th of September 2011, there were on average:

Extras
In addition to the above features, SWEtv arranges bets, where you can bet and earn bonus points on various sports games. SWEtv also arranges competitions and sells T-shirts. At this moment there is a competition for redesigning the site, where you can win a media player.

In Conclusion
Pros: If you enjoy Swedish TV, this tracker is a goldmine! Highly up to date, many and good quality releases, and it's very easy to maintain a good ratio. I can't recommend this tracker enough!
Cons: At this moment, I can not find any. Perhaps the forums could be a little bit more active?
