Content: 4.5/5 - In my experience one of the best General/0-Day trackers in this department. Most movies are uploaded in multiple formats/qualities. Good feedback on quality in torrent comments. TL is very good with scene/0-day releases in most categories and is also good for some rare movies and other content. NOTE: Even though it is a category, TorrentLeech does not have any XXX content.

Speed: 4.5/5 - I have experienced nothing but outstanding speeds on TorrentLeech. It comes very close to maxing out my connection whenever I download and gets very good upload from my home connection. Even older releases have good number of seeders, which is not a given in general trackers.

Community: 4/5 - Forums are a wealth of information and support. The User Guides are of particular help. The IRC is constantly chatty with a mix of discussion on content and support and also idle chit-chat. It is very rarely quiet on either the boards or IRC at TorrentLeech.

Commentary:

Overall, TorrentLeech really does deserve the reputation it gets. It is easily one of the best private general trackers. There is a lot of content in every category and also a lot of quality packs.

Not a negative, but the site has no freeleech ever, so be careful when starting out. However, there are so many users on TorrentLeech that it is never a problem trying to get the necessary ratio on a torrent while seeding.

I'm in torrentleech and IPT,
seeding from my 1Gbps RDP , I get 10-12 Mbps upload speed from IPT for new torrents, good seeders/leechers. But for TL no matter how much leecher it has upload speed is always 1-10 Kbps. Yes under 10Kbps or maximum 15 Kbps. What's wrong? Is there any settings in the TL profile? I think soon I'm going to be banned from there because of low ratio.

Who do you think has a better selection of ebooks (including new bestsellers) TL or IPT?

jandon, can't tell for IPT as I'm not a member there yet, but being TL member since 2006 I can say that ebook and 0-day appz updates became very irregular recently. I'm looking for another tracker for this content, otherwise TL is great.

Looking at TL, there are some e-book packs, but the last one that came out is a few months old, so TL is not the best tracker for e-books (Myanonamouse is a really wonderful tracker for e-books). IPT has around 6000 torrents in the 'books - mags' category.

I am a member of torrent leech and i think it is a really great tracker as it has alot of torrents and it is alot faster as compared to other trackers. It also has a great look. the only thing i don't like about TL is that you have to ask staff to give you an invite and thats a little annoying but never mind that small thing it is a great tracker.

In their forums there are quite a few reports of warning notices from ISPs of torrents downloaded from TL. They need to get rid of the rats before I download anything else from them.

I have been using Torrentleech since the day I got introduced to Private Trackers, and it is awesome. For TV-Shows, video games and movies it is amazing. The only problem it has, in my opinion is with music. You can only find major labels in there and it's quite hard to find more "underground" music. But I guess that's why you have trackers which specialize in music.
