Thread: Blackcats-Games (BCG) Review

Actually, the site is still up as of now, but the tracker portion is still being worked on. They had to switch to servers in another country, most likely it will all be back soon enough. In response to a recent post, I would recommend NOT leaving Blackcats or giving up on them. It has been my most heavily used tracker for over a year now, and will continue to be. I just really like the way one can seed there, not having to actually upload to leechers as long as you leave it in your torrent client. Also, the donations are a good way to get upload credit, and why not? Blackcats allows me to try games before I buy, because nowadays it seems that a lot of companies are just putting out games before they are done. Donating $5 or $10 every month is much less than buying several bad games before having the chance to try them.

their decision to ban my country's IPs along with all the accounts was so deplorable. other trackers have banned countries but let the old users keep their accounts.
but good sense doesn't prevails everywhere. i was very disappointed.

I love this site. It's my primary means, and usually only mean, for games. I don't really get involved with the community so I don't have to worry about their friendliness. :P As far as their mods go, I give them a thumbs up because when I deployed overseas I PM'd one of them and told them I'd be gone longer than their parked account limit and asked not to be auto-trimmed and I wasn't :D Sadly, no invites have been allocated at this time.

Simply the best game tracker (but if you're looking for old stuff, try UG). Great content, good speeds and lots of info about releases.

The best thing is seed point system - when there's nobody to download, after some time you start to gain points. When there's enough, all missing download (needed to ratio of 1.0) is automatically added and you won't get a h'n'r.
