Description:
Evoleech is a BT tracker born in March 2011 that shares mostly scene releases and their internal teams' uploads. It is a very small tracker with only 7000 users and around 4000 torrents (yes, it is that small!). You will find that there are 3 internal teams there (EVO, Timpe and HDTeam).

Even though it was created and is mantained by portuguese people the website interface in is english.

Since the creation of the website all of the torrents are freeleech and the signups have never been closed.

My opinion:

So, now that I've shown you all of that in an objective way, let me give you my opinion.

I've been a member of Evoleech for a few months and the truth is I never use that tracker. It is like a desert! I mean, you saw the pictures right? The fact that the most leeched torrent has 5 leechers is a good indicator of the activity you'll find there. Still, people must understand this tracker is very young, and who knows, maybe one day it will be popular (even though I don't think it will).

The forums have few posts and even though the users are friendly you will have a hard time finding a thread written in english. The average torrent there has 1 or 2 seeds (probably in someone's seedbox). Today I went to their IRC to see how things were there and only after 15 minutes someone actualy replied to me.
The only thing I kind of like here is the design.

So, even for a total noob, this tracker is not recommended.
My final words are: stay away from Evoleech.

I have an account there since the beginning. It was my only hope to see a good Portuguese international tracker. Now I find myself regreting every minute I spent there.
They keep telling the users they're gonna change things but nothing really happens there. They got a few good uploaders and encoders but not what it takes to run a tracker.

Exactly. That's why I made this review, so others don't make the mistake we did when we joined the tracker.
By the way, if you want a good portuguese tracker the best I can recommend you is SceneRush, and if you want in you can find a link to my giveaway for that tracker on my description! There are 3 left!

It's a great tracker... I love HDTeam, I think they are one of the best Portuguese team. I love HD...
In other scene is weak but can be better... I only use this tracker to HDTeam and Evo....

"STAY AWAY FROM EVOLEECH!" I disagree... internal release are good...

I know scenerush and is not the kind of tracker I can call good too. After evoleech I totally lost my hope to see a good one. Thanks anyway ;)

Well, it is good if you put it side by side with other portuguese trackers ;) but yeah, evoleech was very disapointing.

you will find their releases much better seeded in other trackers, better trackers with much more functions.
However it kind of sucks not supporting a team at their own website and grab their releases from another =/

Very nice review, thanks for sharing it with us.

I would like to point out some things though.
Firstly, i would not consider EvoLeech a Scene tracker, i think it is a General one. They may have some scene stuff, but mostly there are internal/p2p releases which makes them much more closer to be General than Scene.
Secondly, i think you shouldn't write things like "STAY AWAY FROM EVOLEECH" capital letters. You gave your ratings, that's enough.

As for SR being the best portuguese tracker, maybe not the right thread to write this, but my answer would be: it depends for whatever you want a PT tracker. We know that all the existing ones at this moment are miles away in terms of content (and maybe speeds) from the "top" internacional trackers.
If you wish to find portuguese stuff, then your best choice would be for me, without any doubts, BTNext. If you look for a tracker "closer" as possible to an internacional one, then either SR or EvoPT would be good choices. There are things you'll find in one tracker, others you'll find on the other and some that you'll find in both

Hey TorrentInv, thx for the comment. About the capitals thing, I totaly agree. I was planning on changing that when I posted this but the I kept forgeting. I have changed it now. I will not remove it though, since that part of the review is my personal opinion, and that is truly what I think. People should able to come to a decicion by themselves without being influenced from what I say =)

Go get a look at EL now, finally they have changed the tracker and forums. I hope it's not too late for the tracker.
