First off, nice idea to keep TI members safer from prying eyes, however it raises a rather large concern with me.
Checking for Dupe Requests
When I invite a user I generally look at their created threads(or individual posts) to see if they have requested/applied for a tracker before. Since only the thread creator(and mods/admins) have the ability to view a request thread once is it completed it means I as an inviter can't check to see that they have had a successful request in the past.
eg If I was to make a SCC request (after already receiving an invite here(only viewable to myself and staff)) a potential inviter would never know I already received one. My iGiver I gave was pretty bland "Thanks for filling my REQ so quickly :)" which does not help an inviter at all in knowing I received an SCC invite.
Rather than just complain, here's how I think TI could resolve this issue:
Maybe some strict rules on iGiver's. eg they MUST include the tracker name (or state seedbox/[tracker] bonus). That way it's easy to identify what people have given/received. If that's already a rule then I'm in error here in my SCC request iGiver example.
iGiver's could possibly also be manually reviewed by staff to determine if they are in the correct format, I don't know much about the specifics of this vB plugin to know if that's an option.
Thanks
