    Default Trader usergroup

How about making a trader usergroup? Trader can be put under their name. It'll save time from having to look up a user to see if they are a trader or not. You could even lock down the trader section until a user applys for trader status and at that time trader will be put under thier name.

    Just an idea

Interesting idea, but would you want to have "trader" attached to your name? It could make you into a target of sorts. Whatever I partake in I'd prefer not to be tattooed onto my forehead. :D

I'm not a trader. Its more for people to help identify who are traders in their giveaways. We already have a list of traders. This would just make it easier.

    I am in favour.

There would be no more bullshit excuses like "I never thought I was a trader", "I never realised trading was considered bad", "I only tried to trade but never traded", "I only did it once" etc. If you have to select an option to become a trader then there are no excuses afterwards.

People would not have to check if someone is a trader, which makes it easier for everyone, and I would not have to do the trader list anymore.

Good idea. I would go one further and also setup a trusted trader group (is that an oxymoron?) to weed out the scammers and make it safer for the genuine traders.

I think its a good idea, however there would have to be a way that if traders canceled their account and rejoined the system would remember they were a trader or allot of traders might cancel and rejoin.

    Not really.....

They would be banned straight away by an ADMIN if found making another account and can be easily caught if they did.

I to agree with this suggestion and think that it will make inviting people less hassle and giving the invite's "piece of mind".

How hard would it be to make a trader usergroup? Can you or does it have to be admin?

This is actually a very good idea, and as already mentioned would save a lot of time and hassle in many situations. As well as save the trader list thread from being constantly updated (not that that's a bad thing).
