Default Suggestion : Cancel Reported Post

    Hi I have a Suggestion..
to cancel reported post by the member that reported it.

for example: I just reported on a post and I confused with another post.
I try to cancel it but I cant..
now the mods will read a post that they dont need to get attention with

also I can edit my report and to write in the report that I confused by another post..

it will be great if there was an option that I could delete my report or just to edit it

You can go to http://www.torrent-invites.com/reported-posts/ to see the posts reported by you. You can edit the report there or add a new reply saying to ignore/or something similar.
If a mod has already seen and processed it, go here http://www.torrent-invites.com/processed-reports/

Just to correct that, you won't be able to EDIT the report, you are only allowed add a new reply which will eventually get Auto Merged to your reported post(If you try to add reply within 24hrs of reporting post)

Hm this sounds like a great idea, but I don't believe it would work. There might be some kind of vbulletin mod, though. Vegas is definitely the person to ask about this.

Great idea though, good thinking. It would be great if it's at all possible.

Also we would need to make sure, that the user/reporter MUST not be able to alter the original post/PM which he/she has reported.

And what is the reason behind the word MUST ?? Users sometime report a post for a reason, and eventually that poster edit his post later and remove that particular reason from the post, and that post is ok.. So, the previous report tend to create some confusion.

Because the ORIGINAL post corresponds to the reason behind reporting the post & mods have a right to know what rule did user broke(Can be worse at times). Also why would reporter wanna alter the the originally reported post? He can just add to it, that user has corrected the post or something which will suffice the mods or the report itself

Once the post is reported it's quoted in the report. Any changes to the original post don't change the quoted report. So mods see the actual post that was reported regardless if said post is later edited.
Missing since March 3rd: If anyone has heard from our Japanese friend Oki, and knows if he is okay, please PM JustJenna. Thank you.
